marshallka wrote: »Hi, you can get copy agreement no prob. Just write a letter to the company and ask for all copies of the loan agreements that you had with them. Send this recorded delivery too as you have proof. You may get charged for this but i think its only about £1 for the agreements. Most do not charge. Also you could request a subject access request from the company. This costs £10 and then you have all the data they hold about you and also any phone calls that you have had with them. This takes up to 40 days for them to comply with under the data protection act. There is a template letter for this on this site. (I will try and find it and post it here). The copy agreements can be sent out straight away usually.
What were the dates of the loans approx??
lol, you beat me to it lol thanks hun.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

The SAR's are eye openers and often things which give you more fight when you read how your complaints/calls have been recorded. The things these companies actually have the nerve to write makes you want to fight and not give up.0 -

I love finding things out and also getting to the bottom of things and also to think that "little us" can fight these "BIG" companies gives me some pleasure. I read all the time how people have been treated and it maddens me and saddens me but when i see their names on the FSA site and the fines imposed that again makes me feel pleasure. We trust these people and they never deserved it. The SAR's are eye openers and often things which give you more fight when you read how your complaints/calls have been recorded. I know some of my SAR's have been some eye openers lol.:D
I know hun, its maddening, on that site I added the other day I left a comment on there earlier and do this quite often, here take a look !

1. There is also a list of firms on the FSA website who have been fined for mis selling, check them out and this may help in your favour to reclaim back your money.
If that firm is not listed and you still believe you were mis sold then still try reclaiming anyway.
I have now learnt there are cheaper stand alone options to suit my needs and have saved quite a bit of cash too by covering my credit this way.
Good luck to all!

Here is one comment posted in May.
79. Browsing through these posts, there are lots here who I feel were definitely mis-sold PPI.
In my opinion if your feel you were mis-sold, get a letter out to them now, there is a template letter on this site and also check other templates on many free penalty charges sites online.
Its not just loans you can reclaim the PPI, it may be a credit card, store card, anything, where there are many free templates you can use to reclaim what is yours.
Good luck to everyone going through this, and my advice is don't be put off if you get a fob off letter back, keep going and again check out some free advice online.
All the best.

And another one posted in July 2008
86. Please don't give up with these complaints of PPI, most of us receive the standard fob off letters to begin with, it makes me mad reading these, down to my experience of being mis sold, but I did not give in and will continue with my others too, I will not let one or 2 fob off letters stop me.
Also worth sending a Subject Access Request (SAR) to these firms for £10, they hold all the information about you from the time of the sale of these products to the end, even if you're still paying any off now. There are SAR templates also on penalty sites, well worth paying £10 for, you will be surprised what information you will receive back, which will back you if your case goes as far as the FOS. If you send a SAR please post by recorded delivery so you can track this down, as they have 40 days as a deadline to send and comply to this.
Good luck to all, just keep battling if you have to.

I Know the dates the loans were started and settled and the monthly payments.
Started-29/11/01 £158 over 60 months
Started-18/10/02 £240 over 60 months
Started-15/6/04 £600 over 60 months
Started-2/3/05 £190 over 48 months
Started-1/8/06 £419 over 60 months
These are paid off now does that make a difference.

It does not make any difference if these are paid off or not hun, infact if successful in all these reclaims they would have to pay you back everything in ppi and the interest on top and again 8% interest of what a court would award.
Now as it was lloyds tsb then you should be okay here then if these fobbed you off where the Financial ombudsman service will be able to take over.
Try to get as much info as possible hun, especially the agreements, this will help your case here, and then a complaint of reclaim letter can be sent to the PPI complaints dept where they will have 8 weeks max to get back to you.
After that let us know what the response is, great if successful but if not we will then look at taking it on to the following step.
There is a template for reclaiming on this site, so as soon as you receive the information, post back on this forum and we will help you when it comes to the reclaiming letter.;)
If you get any problems in LLoyds not supplying you with these then let us know, even though I know they should send you anything going back as far as 6 years in paperwork.

Just been joining other forums about the "The Entitlements Agency" and it seems I am not alone in thinking that they were to do with the HMRC. There website looked so much like it. I have had to post on each and every one of them of my own personal experience:eek: . Have told them I shall post again after Tuesday when I actually know how legit they are.
I have said i will post again and see if they keep to their word. Apparently ran by "Wes and Dave". I spoke to Dave today.
Ahh well time will tell soon.0 -
