Morning Marshallka
have you read the fab poem!!!still fighting for my money !!!0 -
Thanks for the poem, it was touching to be recognised as a helper. I loved it and Laini, thanks for the little message too.
I am in a dilemma today as some time ago in May of this year i tried to claim back tax credits owed for 2002/03 that were unclaimed and used this site at first http://www.taxcredits.org.uk/. I later realised this was nothing to do with HMRC (it does look very official). Anyway i sent off the forms to them and then the next day after research realised i could have done this myself and that they were charging £94 for it. I telephoned them and eventually got through (this was the day after sending the forms) and told told them that i did not want to claim through them. They said they had destroyed the forms. I then on that same day wrote to HMRC 30th may,2008 and claimed myself. I rang lots of times and HMRC said they never received my letter. I then sent another out recorded delivery in July as my first had got mislayed. I had never sent anything recorded when my husband was self employed and we sent cheques and they always received them:rolleyes: .
Anyway i know this is nothing to do with the thread but i have been in tears all morning as i have received a letter first thing this morning from the HMRC to say our cheque has been sent to our nominated agent £597.00. I have tried to ring this company and its answerphone all the time. Their website has no address but i have found an addy on companies house. They have nvever acknowledged our letters and I think i have been ripped off again. I don't think i can take anymore.
I don't know about helping others as i can't even help myself.0 -

Apparently to use a org.uk web address its for non profit organisations. I feel so stupid again. Its really put me back. I want my money back but looking now think i have no chance of this. They are now advertising warmfront schemes and again this looks very official.
I wish we could email HMRC as on monday my husband is back to work and will not be able to ring until evening and they will not let me speak.
Found a few addresses in congleton. They set up feb of this year.0 -
you beat me to it Max!!!
I have just been looking at waynes posts to see what he has put.
It is a missold issue, so I was going to ask him to put the figures up here too.
Hi Laini
You can see why people do not go ahead with these claims. These letters are worded in such a way that you think they must be right and we are wrong.

Hi Marshallka
Am so sorry can you get in touch with trading standards to get them to look into this company see if they have had other complaints. I do not understand why they sent the money to the nominated agents when you had claimed yourself. Is it cause the other people sent the paperwork to them even though you said do not.
Have you got copies of any correspondence.:mad:0 -
