You are quite right and it is nice for me personally cause even when I am working away from home and cannot put my oar in I enjoy coming home and catching up with all the info on here. I do not usually do this sort of thing e.g. Forums etc but have enjoyed being part of this cause you learn so much from others and you always have somebody on here to soothe your brow.:mad:0

I know that even when I have nothing left to claim I will still come here for a chat and a catch up.;)
Me too, I know I have not managed to post so much to others over the last few days as its been hectic here and with inlaw in hospital etc, but I will always be here.......:D , I still have a few loan ppi claims to deal with but sorting all these other complexed ones out the last few weeks of mine have been enough for now and it makes a change to be able to help and advise others with our own experience as much as we can.:D
Saying that Marshallka has been dealing with mine, bless her, not me, WOW she is amazing and I have a job to keep up with her !!!The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
When I wanted to extend my overdraft with RBS in 2000, I was told they wouldn't do it unless I took out their loanguard cover, can I reclaim this and if so which section does it come under in the template letter, the one under general mis-selling where it states the policy would assist my credit application or the one where I was told it was compulsory as I could have taken out other insurance(even though I didn't have any)?
Many thanks for your thoughts

When you’re broke and you need a loan
Don’t be afraid to hock your home
It’s ok if you can’t work or die
Cos you’ll be covered by PPI
You can pay it up front they can add it to loan
You can sort it all out over the phone
They will trick you and hide all the cost it’s so easy
Bombard you with figures that make you all dizzy
They’ll hard sell and try to persuade you to buy
And pre-tick the boxes and tell big fat lies
And if you say no they’ll keep on at you
You won’t get the loan if you don’t buy their poo
And then when you realise that you’ve been miss-sold
They deny everything and say you were told
They say you shouldn’t have signed the contract
And that you knew you would get nothing back
You argue and fight and you get so distressed
And you send your complaint to the FOS
You have to wait months to see if you’ve won
Keep checking the post to see what’s been done
At least there’s a forum to get some help
From Marshallka, Di and everyone else
It’s that bloke’s called Martin from off of the telly
Moneysavingexpert.com’s got some welly!!0 -
