Could anyone please tell me if copies of any paperwork that backs up a case for reclaiming PPI's is necesary as I dont seem to have any? Thanks0

You can request all the details etc in a subject access request if they are needed. I would not bother if the loan was taken after the 14th January, 2005 as most complaints are upheld from that date.
My first loan was taken out in approx 98/99 then we topped it up twice which brings us up to today. I never even realised that it was only myself that was insured and not my husband. Even though both our names are on the loan.

We are in the same boat, the loan is in my and my husband's name, but he is the only one insured!!!DEBT free:j0 -

have you had a look on the PPI success board - it's a good way to find out how/what Halifax are paying out etc and what lengths people are having to go through, I think Halifax seem to pay up fairly quickly, but you'll have to check - you cant add posts there as it's just for success stories - but it cheers you up, well it did me!!!:oDEBT free:j0 -
