What do you think catinthehat1 should do Marshallka ?;)
I would phone them as much as I don't like making these calls, but if you write a letter tonight, send it off by recorded delivery tomorrow (first class), this should reach them by Tuesday, email them as well, and tell them you would like a hardcopy of this is sent in the post too and if they could send you a response on this by both email and hardcopy in the following 48 hours, or give them 7 days the latest.;)
Good luck !

I will have a look through my paperwork and try to get back to you. You really need to get in touch with both of them.
That would be brilliant, I have sent an email to FOS explaining the errors from FP (they are being sent a copy of FP's letter) I will have a search on Google, to see if I can find his/her name. My husband is just going to scan FP's letter in to our computer, then I can use it in my email to head of FP - Oh! I love a mission, and God am I on one!!!DEBT free:j0 -
Think have found him[FONT="] Jeremy Masding - does that ring any bells?

This is all very well, but I was shocked to notice that having highlighted and based some of his review on the 'Loan Customer Duty of care checklist' , the signature on this form is clearly not mine. This angers me, as he has mentioned in his letter that I confirmed that I had read and understood this document and signed to take it in association with the loan.
I have had similar with the Halifax. They refuse to admit that there has been any sort of fraud (as they would) or anything on the account but claim that I am the one guilty of fraud as I must have got someone to complete an application in my name, using my details, and then used the card for the next 6 years paying off the balance each month! Now, why would I do that? There is no reason, is there. Why would the Halifax recreate and application? To tick the box marking PPI I would suggest - after all, they'll make money out of it.
Anyhoo, I took this to my local Police who said that they tend not to get involved in bank cases and suggested I refer it back to the Bank whose own investigators would look into my claims. I'm not aware of them investigating anything, just saying, "We're not refunding your PPI premiums".
As part of my court case, I have asked them - under CPR 18 - what measures they have taken to investigate my claims and whether these are in line with the processes and procedures they have in place to investigate suspicious activity. I would think that they are not, and would hope that they have the decency  to acknowledge this.
I would suggest taking it along to your Police station and asking them what can be done. If it clearly is not your signature and you suspect fraud, then I think the Police should be your first port of call. If they give you a similar answer to me, then pass it back to the Bank, ask if there 'no it's your writing' is full and final, and if so, fire it to the FOS.
I never cease to be shocked at the things banks will do in bending the truth just to save themselves a few bob.Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -

Also when you email tell them a hard copy has been sent by recorded delivery and that you want this sorting in no longer than 7 days.0 -
