Talking about posties I went chasing after mine today, I must have looked a right state, wet hair, almost dressed....:o , slippers......no make up on.... , lol.

I passed him back the neighbouring streets mail and made him search in his bag for the correct post (my post), he passed me mine and looked like this.....:o , said "sorry love", I did go a bit sarky on him and ask him if he normally wears glasses..... :o  , he did not say a word, and I said if this happens again I will be ringing the manager, he stuttered something and walked off..... .

Anyway, there was nothing exciting in the post he gave me, but my son's hospital appointment, if that had gone elsewhere then I would not have known anything about it...... .

The last time this did happen, was with a different postie, the manager sent me an apology letter with a book of 6 first class stamps........ , now isn't that exiting? - not !!! .

    Hi Im desperate for help!!!

Ive registered today for the first time. I read the articles about getting out of the PPI's. Im having a strugle to pay a loan which is guaranteed on my house. I thought if I could cancel the PPI it might make it easier as it added £50.00 per month to the loan payments. I rang them this morning and they said I could cancel. The loan company paid £2,400 upfront to the insurance. I have paid 11 months out of 36 (loan 5 years) they say I can have 1% back for every month I havnt used. £580.00 This wouldnt be so bad but I thought the interest added to the loan for the PPI would stop but they advise it wont as its a CCA loan and the interest is calculated at the beginning and cant be taken off. The payments wont drop much each month either. Can anyone advise if this is right??? s it worth me getting out of it if they are still going to charge me interest on £2,400????

    Hi there.

I see what you saying hun and realistically the repayments will not come down by that much, unfortunately which is very disappointing, where you will still be paying back at a high cost.

May I ask when you had this loan and who with ?

If you believe you were mis sold the ppi you could try to also reclaim this back, they obviously pushed the ppi amount in with the loan as a front loaded policy.

I would try to think back to when you had this loan, any documents you have on this check it out, if you assumed the ppi had to be taken to have the loan then obviously you can also class this as mis sold.

There is some explanations on here where above it states in red "reclaim £1.000's", check through that list and if you think you have grounds to reclaim I would go for it.
And not only that if successful this will bring down quite a chunk off your loan, as you loan is still in force.;)

If you want further help & info hun, get back and we will help guide you from here.;)

If you put first response finance into the search this thread at the top of the page then it may find some claims for you, if not fire your questions away.:D
