Dear Mrs
Thank you for your recent email regarding Click Finance Limited.
The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) was set up to look into claims for compensation against authorised investment firms that are no longer trading and cannot honour claims against them. We are obliged to review all claims and calculate any compensation payable in accordance with our rules (as set by the Financial Services Authority) and our policies (as agreed by our Board of Directors). We have no discretion to depart from these rules, however much we may sympathise with the position of an individual investor.
Unfortunately I have not been able to find any details regarding Click Finance Limited, using the information you have provided. If you wish us to further investigate this, please forward us any documentation you have received from the firm in question and the liquidators, as well as any written responses you've had from the Financial Ombudsman Service.
If you have any further questions regarding this, please contact our helpline on 020 7892 7300.

This email from FISA, not that much help really, think I may have posted this earlier in the posts can't remember.;)
Hello Di
I thought my colleague John XXXXXX had responded to you. If not I am sorry for the delay.
As the FOS point out the loan was sold prior to FSA regulation so there is no automatic right for compensation if the PPI was miss sold.
However, the fact there was an existing medical condition or no proportional rebate does not necessarily mean the insurance was miss sold. These are exclusions that would have been explained in the policy summary.
You may like to speak to the Citizens Advice Bureau initially because this is free or take legal advice at your own expense. However, I cannot assist any further.
Kind regards,
David XXXXXXXX

Something ought to be done about these.
I have seen lots of people on this forum write to them and not ONCE have they been interested about it.
Are they regulated by anyone? and AFB too?0 -

I agree hun, my hubby says the same, well what on earth do they do then ? , do have more emails hanging about think the other is from the FLA, these were the ones who the FOS said we should refer our case to in their letter, as they could not deal with Endeavour and/or Click due to them then not being regulated !!
Will find it and post it hun.:D

This one is from the FLA after being told by the FOS to contact these, then being told they are unable to because these were not covered, they said to contact FISA which we did as you can see the reply we had from these on that above post I sent....... , but here is the feedback
Dear,
We won’t actually be able to help with a complaint against Endeavour Personal Finance as they are not covered by our code.
You’re best off contacting the FISA. There number is 01529 30 5698.

This is one from the liquidators.....but after this I was even thinking if they had the correct company due to so many of them, but we here checked haven't we, but here is the reply to confirm this;
Dear
I refer to your emails addressed to Bartfields, which have been forwarded to me.
Since November 2007, the Insolvency Division of Bartfields (UK) Limited was sold to Begbies Traynor and my new details are
Begbies Traynor
Glendevon House
Hawthorn Park
Coal Road
LEEDS LS14 1PQ
Email: gerald.krasner@begbies-traynor.com
With reference to your enquiry on click Finance Limited, my administration as liquidator was concluded on 16 March 2006, and the company was then dissolved. In the circumstances, there is nothing further I can do to assist you, but I trust the contents of this email are sufficient for your purposes.
Kindly confirm

I am going to make a complaint about them to someone. I think its disgusting that they advertise these companies in their adverts as having follow their strict code of conduct and then when you make a complaint about their code of conduct they have either just left the company or they can do nothing and don't want to know. I will take a look at all of these and see if they are regulated by anyone and if not then they ought to be. As i said earlier we read these things on these loan company/broker adverts and think that they are there to help us (as it reads in the questions and answers on the sites) but really they are all in it together.
I think sometimes if FISA or any of these other bodies get wind that a company is getting lots of complaints then they ask them to move on for a while and then they can go back when its all cooled down. All in it together. (Just my paranoid mind - not:rolleyes: )0 -

I know this is the wrong place here, but this is free of charge, checking lost accounts, I have received my letter from BBA (The voice of banking & financial Services) who try to trace back old bank accounts, you may be surprised, people have had old accounts, maybe have not bothered with them, lost details etc, where these help trace for you free of charge, in the media a few weeks ago people have had hundreds or even thousands in the accounts all forgotten about, so hope its okay to add this here for anyone who may be interested. Good luck hope you have something coming back folks.;)
