marshallka wrote: »Hi Di, have read these already and actually rang FLA and ABI and neither are really interested when you do complain. I have also read the documents for 1999/2000 sales and with these being in GIB they are not members of any. They were members of FISA and also Corporation of FInance Brokers Limited member (That was Freedom not Bespoke). FISA don't want to know. Also again because they are saying that Bespoke sold it (yeah right:rolleyes: ) then there were not any rules.
I was just checking about the FLA and yes I agree with you hun, I did also have an email back about 2 weeks ago to say they could not help, its only just now I remembered this, I think its so wrong they announce this on these sites and find this misleading, what do you think ?
And yet the FOS when they sent back the paperwork to me about not being able to proceed with Endeavour they gave me the address details for these, doesn't make any sense does it ?:rolleyes:The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Good Evening All,
Just to advise really....
I have sent my letter in to recoup my PPI Single Premium from Picture about 6 weeks back and have now recieved a letter from a company called Target Loan Servicing Ltd informing me that 'Picture the Loan Ltd' had gone bump and that there loans book was now being serviced by Target and that therefore any complaint was void and that if i wished i could go to the FSA.
Where do i go from here ?0 -

Hi there Mark
Thanks for adding this hun.
I am in the same situation as you then Mark, but am going to still try to resolve this by using their linked groups and directors who have continued with the PPI selling as advised.
Now when you say bumped, I assume you mean they either stopped selling, they sold on or maybe dissolved, in my case the loan company dissolved, who were called 'Click Financial' but have now started up since dissolvation in 2006 again as a Click firm, the directors from the old Click are still active so am trying to reclaim this way.
I will check it out about Target loan servicing and see if these have any links to that of Picture and get back.
I do know the 'Companies house link' should disclose this but the site will not be working now until tomorrow (Monday), other than that, check out the FSA register and add the target loan services, these may also provide some further information.
Back soon on this hun.;)
Di.

Mark, I found a link in my local paper online about this and I feel you should still try to pursue this but through target, afterall jobs were saved to stop picture dissolving in my opinion, have a read of this.

What do these companies actually do???? Think i already know the answer to that one. STICK TOGETHER0 -
I want to know who these are
"Corporation of Finance Brokers Limited" , I will have to look on companies house tomorrow as they are a limited company. Freedoms old adverts state this on their site.
Not as though it means anything because they all leave these organisations at the first sign of trouble and then you get told by these companies "sorry, they are no longer members".
Bespoke Finance are still sending out letterheads displaying the FISA member when in fact they are no longer members.0 -

Marshallka I also have this on my paperwork too, that will be cool to check this out, they must mean something.;)
Look forward to hearing the outcome of this, I hadn't thought about checking this one out.;)

We all look at these logos on their sites and think that they cover us and are there to protect us and really they are there to make these rogue loans/brokers look like they are complying to something. What bull.

Various Info? 1.CFB was a trade body and is now the AFB and the loan brokers are members. 2.If a broker or lender ceases trading any money owed to customers following successful complaints on regulated business is paid by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, which is linked to the FSA. Complain to FOS as usual and proceed from there. You will be safe.0
