    Hi there
I've already written to them with the inital claim of misselling as when i dealt with egg on the loan to confirm they told me that PPI would help the application so already used that letter. Sorry i wasnt clear on that!
So is this a final response then that you have now. If it is then you need to get your complaint into the FOS now. You can download a complaint form from here and send it recorded delivery too.

    http://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/consumer/complaints.htm

Make the complaint for both the loan and the top up

When I got one of those I didnt fill form in. Told them that those questions should have been asked before PPI was added and as I hadnt received that questionaire before ppi was added i wasnt going to fill it out now.

PPI is optional so answers are irrelevant anyhow

I bet lots of people have had those and given up trying to claim. Just a ploy to put people off like their letters back with their nicey nicey "I'm sorry that this isn't the answer you wanted"

Yes I agree with you on that one.

Also the bit in some of the letters that try and blame someone else not covered by FOS.

So many people must give up when they receive these letters.

I get really cross about it all. especially after reading in the paper the other day about how much get spent on the bonuses for the people who run these companies.

And then they have the cheek to let us, the people they have been ripping off for years bail them out.

i know its the wrong thread, but I cant help wondering whats going to happen with the bank charges thing. Are they now going to plead poverty saying they havent got the money to pay back all the bank charge cases that are on hold?

Still cannot get through to that FSCS number, still waiting for an email response, normally they are pretty good and get back within an hour, but not this time - wonder if they are just re-checking what they have from me altogether, not sure but I do need to know because how the heck can I supply what I have not got.

I also explained in the email that we did try to request for a SAR from the company where the liquidators returned the cheque payment and letter also to advise us that Twopart could not supply us with this due to liquidation.
So there we go - no further docs can be sent to the FSCS, they should know this already as I had suppled the FSCS with the copy of the letter from the liquidator which states that and the SAR issue.......

That's a good line to use - think I might put that in my return letter if that's ok?!

So what did your bank say to that? Or haven't you had a response yet?
