i just had a quick look on success board. Its really slowing down now isnt it?
considering how many claims are in with fos - doesnt seem to be moving very quick.
Unless people just stopped reporting their success stories.
I know what you mean and yes your right....., not unless of course like you said not everyone are posting in their successes due to all the excitement of winning perhaps ?
:j lol.

Just copied and pasted this from this site, but will add it here anyway, it maybe useful to others who do not know how their PPi cancellation works, if your provider is not added in this list, its always best to check your ppi cancellation rights etc.;)Some Lenders' policies (after initial 30 day cooling off period)HSBC Can cancel PPI separately
Lombard Direct Can cancel PPI separately, but required to give 30 days written notice
Lloyds TSB Need to cancel original loan agreement
Northern Rock Can cancel PPI separatelyNatwest/RBSCan cancel PPI separately, but will incur an administration fee
Abbey Can cancel PPI separately
Barclaycard Can cancel PPI separately
Nationwide Can cancel PPI separately
Liverpool Victoria Can cancel PPI separately
Alliance and Leicester Cancel separately and you'll incur 1 month interest penaltyThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Bad news for me
Co-op have made a gesture of goodwill offer...
we had four loans
1997 settled 1999 Loan £5000 PPI £1144.77
1999 settled 2000 Loan £9000 PPI £2068.75
2001 settled 2002 Loan £4000 PPI £1278.44
2002 settled 2004 Loan £8100 PPI £2588.84
They have offered a gesture payment for the lowest one £1278.44 (2001 loan). I have now rang our new adjudicator who stated that my old adjudicator was supposed to be looking into all four and that if I could send him copies of the agreements (which i already had done anyway
) then they would get back to the co-op and state that I want all four loans looking into. They have messed up here as my complaint form had the very last one of 2002 on it and then i mentioned the other 3.
He also stated that they had recieved lots of emails from me about whether I needed to send the others in seperate and he said the old adjudicator was already going to look into all four loans.0 -

Okay so it wasn't in the hundreds then and considering the amounts were originally higher for PPI they are offering you these lower as a goodwill gesture, and not admitting to mis selling then..... what can you do about this now then hun ?
Can the adjudicators keep looking into this for you ?
Was this by letter/email or phone call that you found out about this today ?The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Marshallka hun, when you had those loans from co-op, were they to pay the other off sort of thing and start again?
And I know you have mentioned this many times, but like my 2nd loan with nemo they rebated an amount from the first loan, is this the amounts after rebate then if any were rebated that is ?;)
I know they are different to mine but it just entered my mind in case rebate was already reduced from the amount they are offering ?The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
I believe you will get this all back in the end Marshallka, I think you had the mis fortune to have an adjudicator that has left (nice of them to let you know:rolleyes: ) And now it will get sorted, they wouldn't offer goodwill if they werent in the wrong. xxDS1 12/10/04

Yes exactly Pinknico, your right and they are obviously guilty of this or they would not be offering anything.;)
They don't like admitting they were in the wrong and mis sold, but we all know they did and that they are guilty !The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

I thought that I would post an update as to my PPI reclaiming.
Paragon Loan Via e-loans.co.uk (broker) – I am in the process of reclaiming my PPI. At first I contact e-loans as they were the broker but later found out they have gone into liquidation (I have sent a letter to the company dealing with this for my information). So I sent off a SAR via Loancheck to Paragon who I have my loan with. As the 40 days were up I call Paragon myself and found out from the head of compliance that they wrote a letter to Loancheck advising they will not send any information out regarding my account because they are getting too many SAR forms and feel that companies like loancheck are asking for information that is not entitled to them. I pointed out that the SAR was sent with my consent, he then asked why I want this information. I told him it really does not matter why I need the info, I am entitled by law to have it. He backtracked and said that he will send me information but later added that I won’t be getting information on commissions. I think Paragon have over stepped the mark on this because I called Loancheck and they said that never received a letter from Paragon advising that they will not send this information to them and the reasons why. As far as Loancheck were concerned they we still awaiting the information. I think Paragon lied about sending out the letter and because I called them and told him my rights under the Data Protection Act he said that I will get this information – I have not as yet. Should I complain about them to ico.gov.uk??? I feel from the conversation I had from Paragon’s head of compliance that he was talking rubbish saying that people are bending the rules of the Data Protection Act and companies like loancheck are pebble dashing banks. I really could not believe that I was hearing this; surely this is against the rules?? It makes me think something is not right with my loan as well as the PPI.
Also I managed to get my information from HSBC regarding my loans without giving up £10, which is good. HSBC are normally quite good giving me the information but not so helpful when I ask for my money back. I have now sent a letter regarding the PPI and I am waiting to hear back – so fingers crossed.:rolleyes:0 -

My original complaint had the very last loan we had on the complaint form but I mentioned that we had four with them in all and could they look into the others too. I then had a phone call from the adjudicator to say that they would most probably and then he went off sick.
Yesterday I called again and was told that he never returned to work so they would allocate another and that my emails were there but nothing done with them. Today I have received this stating that co-op have made this goodwill offer to me but not for the all loans, they have just picked the lowest one and offered that. I have today told the adjudicator that I would not accept this and that I want all four loans looking into. He said he would get back to the co-op on this if I could send him copies of all agreements. (I already did to the other adjudicator). I feel so confused here.0
