Aww sorry to hear of this hunni, hope he is okay now then.;) It must have been a very difficult time for you all..... .

I do think smoking is all partly to do with stress which is the reason why we do this.....:o .

Same here, I was about 14....... , 40 now and did not smoke when carrying my boys and when I did aerobics etc, now I have the odd one in the garden, my kids go mad when they catch me..... .

I say every new years eve I will stop....... , then the first thing I do on new years day is go into the garden for a fag......:o .

    Lol.

    Thats me also.

I go all day without one then when my boy is tucked up in bed and all my chores are done, I stand on the back door step and have half of one.

It was a whole one 3 weeks ago so getting a little better.

I have been a smoker for about 20 years.

Except for the break when I was pregnant with my son.

Started again after he was born. He was born with lots of health issues and it was start smoking again or turn to alcohol. Spent first 6 months of his life in hospital. He nearly ten now and nearly re built and leading a healthy happy (and as much as i hate the word) "normal" life.

So time to stop the nasty habbit and try and make sure i'm around for him for a long time to come. God willing.

Good for you for giving up now. It pulls you apart doesn't it when you have a baby whether they are born with problems or not. I suffer guilt every day over all I do for them always thinking I am not good enough or I could have done/handled something better/differently. Am sure that is just motherhood though:rotfl: am not really neurotic, OCD, hormonal bunny boiler Tee Hee:j

So you have stopped now then have you hunni ?:D

Well done if you have:T , now I must do this, I tend to suffer plueresy, (excuse the spelling) lol and have a shadow on my left lung..... , on inhalers too, so now my health problems are now self inflicted, its all my fault, because I should have listened to the doctors many years ago...but its so difficult.

We don't go out drinking and its rare I treat myself to anything, like us all here I expect, and a fag is my comfort.......:o .

Oh i know what you mean.

When he has been really naughty and i have had to ban him from computer & playstation as punishment, when he is fast asleep and i look at him I think you rotten c_w. and then it kills me even more to carry it through the next day. I keep telling myself it will make us all better people in the long run but still feel guilty as hell

Right my adjudicator has never returned to work again:eek: since speaking with me (Must of given him stress...) No really, he never did return I am now being told so my case is being passed to another person. I did speak to his manager today who informed me that the Co-op have made an offer and she did not know what it was and that they would look at it and see if it was something that I should accept or not. I asked about what loans they had been made an offer on and whether it was all four but she did not know. I then asked if she could find out the amount but she could not but said maybe by the end of the week she would be able to tell us. I have a feeling now that this is for only one loan or even a goodwill gesture of peanuts as these were adamant that I should have been aware within 3 years and I was not.

Just going to have to wait now.... Its going to kill me here.

There are a lot of illness's that are self inflicted (they say stress is if we put ourselves in it) but does not mean that we cannot feel sorry for that person, self inflicted or not. Maybe you should try treating yourself...you need it every now and again.:A

I lie in bed each night worrying have I done this right and have I done that right and has this happened cause of how I bought up my kids. Are they going to be OK. I have to keep telling myelf I am just a "good enough" mother and not anything special and it works better than trying to be "supermum".

    Hi All

Am still waiting to hear back from Barclaycard on my 3 Loans. This was upheld by the FOS in middle of April and they made an offer in July (well just paid it straight into account) it was wrong amount and they did not understand the FOS workings out.

Have reminded FOS and my adjudicator has said that the bank is very busy and will get back to me ASAP:mad:
send barclays a letter telling them there delay is causing you distress and inconvenience - the FOS award 'damages' for this !!
