    OK.

I have edited the line where i said about accepting their offer to

    I would like to

I would like to accept your offer of £400.00 but would like to point out that this is only in relation to cancelling my policy, not full and final settlement regarding the mis selling of my policy.
You have now made this clear to them that the misselling complaint still stands as it is. They may now write back again and settle properly.

    Good luck..

How long have you had the "illness"....

I have been a smoker for about 20 years.

Except for the break when I was pregnant with my son.

Started again after he was born. He was born with lots of health issues and it was start smoking again or turn to alcohol. Spent first 6 months of his life in hospital. He nearly ten now and nearly re built and leading a healthy happy (and as much as i hate the word) "normal" life.

So time to stop the nasty habbit and try and make sure i'm around for him for a long time to come. God willing.

In fact maxdp, you have reminded me to ring the FOS again (about tenth time) for an update on the co-op ones. Not heard anythings since beginning of sept when it went to adjudicator as the FOS were still waiting for the co-op to reply.

Do you know I have not had any of the usual letters from FOS saying sorry we have not been able to assign you with an adjudicator blah blah since July:eek:

My last one was in August.

I e-mailed las week and basically got told they are very busy and will get round to my claims in order of where they are in the queue.

I have 5 complaints in with them at the moment

Aww sorry to hear of this hunni, hope he is okay now then.;) It must have been a very difficult time for you all..... .

I do think smoking is all partly to do with stress which is the reason why we do this.....:o .

Same here, I was about 14....... , 40 now and did not smoke when carrying my boys and when I did aerobics etc, now I have the odd one in the garden, my kids go mad when they catch me..... .

I say every new years eve I will stop....... , then the first thing I do on new years day is go into the garden for a fag......:o .
