Morning all.
It looks like it's going to be another good day today. The sun is shining, there isn't a cloud in the sky and the light frost is slowly melting.
I'm taking the m/home in for some engine work shortly. She'll be gone 'till about midday so I'll be like a cat on the proverbial hot tin roof until I get her back. I know it's sad but I do love my motorhome and I hate her to be out of my sight for too longIf I'd have thought the same about the wife......
While she's away, I shall catch up on paperwork and finances and hopefully figure out how the washing machines work down here. The "smalls" drawer is looking a bit "Mother Hubbard" at the moment so I need to do a wash. I'm at the doctors this afternoon and I think he might just see a different man to the one he saw 2 weeks ago:rolleyes:
. The sleeping tablets have helped me enormously and I think the anti-depressants have as well but to be honest, I feel that laid-back today, I've no idea
Hope all are as well as can be and my thoughts are with anyone who is hurting. Try and smile, the sun WILL shine again.
Take care.

Good morning, all.
SMOKY (((Hugs))) to you and the LOs; thinking about you all.
(((Hugs))) to MARTYN - hope you have a good day.
N9EAV - have a great day sailing! The weather is great here - (if I was a sailor I'd be on the Solent) - hope it is in Falmouth!
CHURCHMOUSE - :hello: :hello: :hello:
MRS MIX (((Hugs))) to you today.
PENPIN - good luck today.
CATZ - I think I said sorry about your poor cat yesterday but, in case I didn't, I'm sending (((hugs))) today, as someone who has had four cats over the years and know how they become real members of the family.
DAZI - this perfume thing is a nuisance, isn't it? I also read that, in the USA, they take the problem far more seriously. People over here just don't realise - I was coughing and spluttering in the bank one day and a lady said 'have you got a cold?' and I just said 'no, it's your very strong perfume, actually'. The trouble is that nowadays perfumes are just made from chemicals and petro-chemical by-products; I shouldn't think any of them ever contain anything organic. I think that's why they didn't used to affect me years ago. I stopped using furniture polish years ago; I find a damp cloth is far more effective anyway and, as for air fresheners - I think they should be banned. They really make me ill. I hate seeing them in cars with children - as bad as smoking, in my view. Anyway, rant over - I'm OK as long as I don't go out!
Welcome to BLUENELEH - you'll like us!
Well, JET mentioned the other day that my posts had got shorter - well, I'm back, as you can see, waffling for England!
Dinner tonight is a yellow-stickered piece of pork with roast pots, runner beans, cabbage and gravy and pudding is a piece of the cake I made yesterday.
The WM is on with the first of two loads. I am going to turn out my freezers and fridges today and, also, the baking shelf of my larder which has crumbs all over it. Then I'm going to the gym. Then home for lunch and a snooze before I start work this aftrnoon - I woke far too early again this morning so need to catch up on my sleep.
Hav a great day.

My last day "off" before I go back into the last 5/6 weeks of placement & academic year - it is going to be a hideously stressful few weeks (including 2 essays to write) but I must keep telling myself it won't be for long....
Treating myself to a trip to the hairdressers this morning - not been for months & well overdue. Need to pick up a computer from Bexhill as well & finish making a birthday card...
Then might watch a few episodes of Aunty Gok that I've got on sky+ - always inspires me to make an effort

Hardup Hester - Oooo, The knicker lady....I saw her once before on the telly, she was really, um, obsessive about knickers and bras and had loads of really old ones! That will be an interesting talk, wish I could go!
Penny Pincher - Thoughts are with you today xx
Got up at a silly time this morning and took the dogs for their walk, then came home and have done nothing since!!
Only one of the kids are up at the moment - they are usually up and running around by now, so I am tip toeing around enjoying the quiet!
Got a couple of washloads that need doing today, but it is supposed to rain soon so I will have the 'laundry' look in my home today - you know the one....towels hanging over doors, sheets hanging over the banisters....
No idea what dinner is going to be tonight, I will dig deep in the freezer and see what I can pull out. I think there may be some mozerella cheese in there somewhere, if there is then dinner will be pizza!
Take care, have a good day and hugs to those that need / want them.0 -

Busy again today-loads to do -again!!!!!!!
Kitchen and lounge look much better already for having had a good tidy up and sort out. My DD sorted her clothes out again last night and has sent 2 binbags full to recycling!!!!!-and she's still got loads of clothes!!!!!!
Thought I'd caught up with the washing til the kids tidied their bedroom... Basket full again-I don't know how they get through so many towels-or rather I don't know how they manage to have a full wash load of them in their bedroom-every time they tidy up.
Anyway, better make another brew before I get going again. (I did find a bottle of Bollinger last night while I was sorting through some stuff in the kitchen...I'd forgotten about that-don't remember where it came from originally, must have been a gift. Much as I love it I haven't got the kind of money it costs to buy a bottle-think I will save it for when OH and I get married, )

Cool here again this morning, not got anything planned for the day, more washing and ironing, maybe go and hire a film or game for the kids as have some free hire vouchers, which would get us out for abit of a walk too.
Some creative work later making a cardboard football cup, which the kids want to cover in silver foil, so that should be messy but fun.
Have a lovely day everyone

Morning all, hope you don't mind me dropping in to say hello! :hello:
I've been up since 5 this morning, which if you ask anyone who knows me, NEVER happens as I love my kip too muchCouldn't sleep very well last night. We're off on our hols on Friday (yay!) and my mind was whirring with all the things that I need to do between now and then! In the end I got up and have been pottering around the house ever since. I've folded the dry washing, put on another lot, emptied and loaded the dishwasher, swept and mopped the kitchen floor and I've spent the last hour doing some work on my laptop. I think I must be sickening for something - this is not normal behaviour for me! lol When my OH gets up he will think the housework fairy has been...
Anyway, excuse my rambling on (must be the sleep deprivation), hope you all have a good day
