    Hi :hello:

Hugs to Smoky and to Penny Pincher (hope you get some good news)

I've had another busy day here. After dropping the girls off I popped into Argos, B&Q and Boots. Then before I'd got my coat off a neighbour called around to ask me to countersign his passport form. Then I popped out for 30mins to deliver some church newsletters and when I got home I found a huge bag on the doorstep containing our local community newsletter that I deliver every 2 months.
I then did some planning for school and for sunday school and then I painted the tile grout in the bathroom white using some handy stuff from Betterware. I was going to wash the windows but I'm feeling really tired now, so I'm having a rest. :rotfl:
After collecting the girls I'm going to make Vegetable Hotpot for tea and a pan of veg soup for my packed lunches for the rest of the week.
    Have a good day! :D

    Hi everyone

I'm a newbie and am completely addicted to this site! Have already found some great tips. Have just made my first batch of twinks hobnobs (which have gone down very well with the husband!) and have got my loaf in my new panasonic breadmaker as we speak! I've always been a bit of an os-er, love cooking and baking so am glad i found this!

Been to do my weekly shop today and spent a lot less than usual so managed to put some on the card for the Xmas shop which i havent been able to do since i had our 5 month old so quite pleased!

Hope everyone has a good day and hugs to those that need/want them x

    Afternoon all
Welcome to Mancgirl, Wiseowl, Webitha & Mrsf123.
I'm back from listening to the Knicker Lady, she was very amusing & entertaining & showed us lots of examples of historical & hysterical underwear.
I'm now going to type up the notes I made about the business side of the W.I. ready to make a presentation to my institute next month.
    Have a good afternoon.
    hugs Hester

Envy you your trip out Hester, sounded fun.

Not much fun here today. Master Ivy got himself up and ready for school this morning, told him to take £ from my purse for lunch, there was no way I was getting out of bed to make butties! He also brought me paper and envelopes so I could write appropriate notes to school.

Little Miss Ivy is still in bed, I took her a drink at 12noon and told her I wasn't fit to be up and down, just went up now and she's in bed (a loft bed!) with her laptop. TOld her she should come and get another drink even if she doesn't want to eat.

I have taken more med, but my temp still doesn't want to go down from 101! Might try a tepid shower... might help, but not pleasant, will also have another really cold drink, there's a big bottle of vimto that I diluted earlier.

Sorry to sound miserable. I'm OK really, just feel that being ill is such a waste of time and not able to look after the little ivies (well, 14 & 17) as a mum should!
