Hey all
First of all hugs and loves to those in need.
Well, I've been a very naughty girl these last few weeks and managed to be totally self indulgent and not at all os! So am attempting to get back on track and start again...Heaven help me.
Well, today could be a no spend day if I manage not to shop after work and so could tomorrow actull, that would be great coz Im in Leeds on friday and thats gonna cost me, bus fares, food and Im such a spender. Done two loads of washingf and am gonna beg oh to wash the handwashables and empty the dishwasher, might not work, but its worth a shot
Am going to see my not-quite-nephws tomorrow, he was born on Sunday morning, I'm really looking forward to it, he's gonna be sooooo cute.
Anyway thats it from me, watch this space to see how I manage to stay on track (or not as the case will most probably be)
P.s. I've entered race for life....OMG!!!!!! I cna barely make it up the stairs without being out of breath, this was not a good plan. When life gives you lemons......Grab a bottle of tequila and call me over!

Decided that I can't be bothered with laundry today. I'm sitting as far back in the house downstairs as it's possible to sit and the laundry that needs doing is in our room on the 2nd floor at the front of the house. It's as far away as it could possibly be. I'm to achy to do it really. Maybe tomorrow?"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Hi all - just sat down for five minutes. (((Hugs))) again to the poorly ones and those who have sore throats that may be turning into lurgies. I've been sniffling this morning but that happens when I go shopping and come into contact with people wearing heavy perfume. I had a long wait in the post office queue - well, I waited ten minutes but someone had such a lot of strong perfume on that I had to leave. I did a bit of shopping then went back into the post office and the queue had disappeared. Anyway, having had two bad colds or doses of flu, in October and again all over Christmas, I shall be hopping mad if I'm ill again!
Welcome to Lumpy Bum - you'll have fun here. We often do inventories of fridges, freezers and store cupboards - the last time I did my freezer I found meat for 25 meals and I only thought I had some mince and sausages! I barely shopped for that month because I made myself use what I already had. It made for some interesting meals, I must say, but saved a lot of dosh!
Welcome, too, to JaneyD - your dog will forgive you. My DS2 and his GF asked me to take their beautiful kitten to get him 'done' when he was old enough because they both had to work that day. I felt really guilty because I feel like I'm his Nan but he still comes up and welcomes me; I think he's either forgotten or forgiven, one or the other!
BARGAIN - if you were meant to get that BM you would have bid to win. There is obviously a much better bargain waiting for you somewhere!
Well, I was supposed to go the gym after I'd been shopping but, somehow, the car seemed to drive home instead! I really must go tomorrow!
Off to see what to have for lunch.
See you all later.

because its in the utility room i dont go in there as often as i should do lol
ive 3 freezers in total, and 2 fridges. a fridge freezer in the kitchen, fridge freezer and 6ft chest freezer in the utility room. the ff in the utility room is mainly full of fizzy drinks, wine, beer etc and ice lollies.
when we move though i wont have the built in one that i have in the kitchen here so i really need to get it all down.
im just writing my list for when i go into town.:cool:minds is willing , soul remains, this woman cannot be saved ;););););););):A;);););););););)

Mioliere-I am the same with perfume too, some of them make my eyes and nose stream, in some cases also really bad headache.
I can't wear many either. When I first met OH he kept buying me perfume and in the end I had to tell him. I have a couple I know I can wear and stick to them although sometimes even they can give me a headache.
Since I got back from the town I have made some pastry, its in the fridge now, ready for tonights meal. This is the first time I have made pastry for errrrrrrrrrrrrrrr could be my domestic science lesson in the 4th year:rotfl: I usually buy frozen but thought I would give it a go.
Didn't find any bargains in the townbut made an appointment to have my hair cut, its a mess at the moment and need to smarten it up incase I get any interviews.
Not going to do any houswork or baking for the rest of the day, the desktop pc has gone wrong so going to see if I can fix that, then have loads of OH's tapes from his camcorder that need transferring to DVD, used to be able to do it easy, but changed PCs and can't remember the programme I usedtried on my laptop and went through a whole hour of his 'past life' and it didnt transfer grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Morning everyone.
Well, couldn't sleep last night. Worrying about money and stuff.
So decided not to set an alarm for this morning and I've just woken up!!!!!
5 years ago I wouldn't have felt this guilty... I guess we really DO grow up eventually.
Hope everyone's alright, haven't had time to read back through the posts - sorry!
I will dedicate the rest of my afternoon to packing more and more boxes. The flat feels more empty every day and I love it!
