    Welcome newbies :hello:

(((PP))) just wanted to say if I miss you in the morning - good luck for your scan tomorrow, hope everything goes ok and they can tell you tomorrow.

(((hugs))) to anyone else who needs one esp Smokey& Mrs Mix - best wishes for your Dad hopefully once he's on the intravenous antibiotics he will show some improvement..

Spent all morning running errands, have done some paperwork but thats about it and dont see myself getting much else done. DD is begging me to take her to a local shop to get some corn for the popcorn maker we have had delivered - Tesco dont stock it anymore.

Think will do that and also go to the library as its not open again till Thursday.

That will be about it and then will have an early night - the first week back at school after a holiday really wears me out.

mioliere - I didnt realise at first what it was! was once taken to hospital from work as they thought I was having an asthma attack:eek: turned out to be someones estee lauder! my DD and her mates were very good when making up for a night out, she used to have the window wide open or they sprayed when they left the house, am now trying to get this through to DSD, we only have tiny windows that open here so have asked her and mates to spray when they leave, much rolling of eyes and shoulder shrugging.

I remember reading a few years back that in USA it was considered as bad as smoking and some restaurants would not admit people wearing heavy perfume......can't see that happening here.

I have become a bit obsessive about smells I can cope with, have now stopped using furniture polish as some of them made me bad too.

Shower gels can be the same but am ok with original souce stuff, so go overboard on the teatree and mint one, when its on offer I buy up the shop!

Glad to know I am not strange...I always thought it was just ME :rotfl:

Well as for how my afternoon has gone....can't mend the pc its either the monitor or the graphics card, hoping its the monitor! don't have a spare one here and I don't know anyone round here to ask if I can borrow thiers for a while, will ask OH to see if he knows of anyone we can borrow one to try, not that fussed as me and OH both have laptops, its just when DSD is here, she pinches one of the laptops lol

Still trying to do do the copying camcorder tapes to DVD, programme on my lappy just keeps saying error so have emailed a friend to see if she can help....did think of trying techie board but dont want to seem a wally lol

    I've been Money Tipped!
((((Hugs)))) Penny Pincher - I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I am going to have to post a sad one today as unexpectedly my cat Holly has died, I should have prepared for it as she went in for a tooth extraction today at 15 years, but vet did a blood test and thought she was ok to go ahead, op went ok but sadly she didn't make it  I feel bad for going ahead with the op but she needed it doing and the vet did discuss it with us and felt it was worth the risk as she was being sick and must have been in some pain. So Catznine is now Catznone:sad: and the puppy keeps looking for her!

Sorry to put a downer on the thread :o I will be ok, had my tears and am sorting out her stuff for the cat protection league as we won't be getting another cat!

have taken DD to have her ears peirced today, as her friend phoned to say she could not make it to town ( third time she has done this  ), then came back, hovered car out ( i hate that job ) then moved lawns, so had a busy day, we then watched penelope, on dvd, a film about a girl born with a pigs nose, good film well worth a watch.

Just off to mash the spuds and cut the meat, have good evenings all xx
