Don't know about anyone else but I have "legal protection" cover on my house contents insurance and will be consulting them on this if anyone else has the same I would check with them,If you have a claim they will fight it, mine is for up to £500,000 of cover, have used it in the past and won against estate agent and wife's company for constructive dismissal,both times they appointed highly paid solicitors and both settled out of court,I think knowing that it's not costing you frightens the other side a bit.

i also have a order cofirmation which states

these itemes will be delivered to (my home address)

ive also heard that people have recived emails saying it was a price mistake
but as yet i haveny heard anything to say my order wont be honored

Ok they have taken the money from my credit card.all processed through, so huh ! only have the email reciept but as I had ran out of printer ink. I have morzilla anyway to go back through the history and print it ? I have heard that the credit card gives me cover but I seriously doubt that anyone will get anything.They will just say out off stock and refund the money. Virgin did it to me at xmas with a mistake they made. I never challanged it as i changed my mind anyway.
BUT i m prepared to pickett this time !!

i have just spoken to my credit card people and the money has been taken
i asked her to confirm if argos physically had my money and she said yes.

but the strange thing is they have took 2 payments
the first for £5.44 and the second for 49p???
also did a homebase one and still havent had any form of confirmation email but again money taken from my debit card.

also havent had any cancellation emails

I think anyone of us who has anything with order confirmation, should challenge this!! Why should they not have to stand by this... Im in business and if I make a pricing mistake, I have to stand by it! So why shouldnt they!!

I haven't heard of anyone who has had a cancellation Email....Probably just The Sun printing their usual !!!!!!
