For goodness sakes, the best you could ever have hoped for was some vouchers for the inconvenience. The T&Cs are very clear - if the price was an error they can cancel the order. You agreed to these T&Cs when you purchased. Even without this clause the 49p was clearly a mistake. If it had said £200 or even £150 you could possibly have tried to argue they were trying to mislead you, but 49p was clearly a mistake and no judge in the land would side with you even if they didn't have the price error clause.

You have no legal or moral comeback. Get over it and get on with your lives.

Excuse You, but whats your problem?
In this trusted place U can erase

All the time U waste in that paper chase

  • Any good ideas as to what to say if they phone us and they give us the option to pay full price or cancel the order. Obviously we won't be paying the full price but if we say to cancel the order we might possible lose out in case by some miracle they do honour the deal.

I completely disagree with you Gizmoleeds , internet selling practices need to be clarified once & for all . It doesn't matter whether it is 49p or £49,000 . As for T&C's , these are not enforceable if the law has been broken .
  • Perhaps the web programmer from Argos????

Take no notice, they probably didn't get their order in on time.
