"While we try to ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur."

Like so many other online retailers, they fail miserably to ensure prices are correct. If I ran an e-commerce system, every item would belong to a 'pricing group', where the items price could not be displayed if the price had been set below the groups threshold.

So in this instance, the TV would be in a group where the minimum price that it could be sold at would be say £250.

If some operator made a mistake, the item would not show on the site, but would be flagged as a problem on my system. Every pricing action would also be logged so I could hit the person responsible with a big stick.

someone said earlier how they made an error like this anyway. the true price of the tv is £349.99 so how did they get 0.49 out of that  I could understand if the price mistake was £49.99 (which would of still been a bargain) but for the programmer to get it all completely wrong is just stupid. Either it was his last day, or he had just been sacked!!! If not he might be now!!

so it is! However you can't add it to your basket without getting an error. How strange to still be advertising it though when they have obviously realised!
