I ORDERED BACK AT 8.30PM AND STILL NO E MAIL  ALTHOUGH MONEY HAS COME OUT OF ACCOUNT!!!!0

I feel all dissapointed now!! As they had took my money from my account i really had some hope of getting this, even if only slight. Now you have said you had your money taken and still didnt get it i dont hold much hope now. I have to say that i thought once the money was taken from your account is when the contract was formed and they had to honour the price but obviously not then.0

Well now, I've seen this "bargain" being touted on FIVE different sites now, including the Ebay community pages.
Assuming that only 10% of people who have seen it, try to order it, that surely must still run into thousands of orders.
I can't see Argos/Homebase honouring so many orders, even if they might have been inclined to honour orders if there were only a few of them.
(Hasn't stopped me from trying to order one though - what the heck! I don't expect to get one, but I won't refuse it if it's offered0 -
Incase you dont get a reply straight away this is what it said when I just orderd one.
"Thank you for placing your order.
Unfortunately we cannot confirm your order straight away, but we will send you an acknowledgement email shortly (this may take a couple of hours during busy periods).
There is no need to re submit this order
Thank you for shopping at homebase.co.uk"
I doubt very much I'll get one tv I mean.

There probably are not enough TVs in the whole world to satisfy the demand they have created at 49p each! LOLNo reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
you know what i think argos is having an early april fool with us all...check it out....can you imagine the amout money in intrest argos will make by keeping everyones money for the 3-4 days over the bank holiday period... Im begining to think that the jokes on us and argos has used us for the loophole of the holiday banking system!!
kinda smart really as they've only ask a tiny amount to justify that we would all be bonkers if we didnt honestly knew it was a error. Thus ensuring they would not be liable to any fines with trading laws.
Thats just me looking at the wider picture i guess!0 -
I dont think I will get the TV, but for those worried about being charged full price - look back at earlier posts about T&C's.
As for ebay, I hate the fact that people use this site for money making rather than money saving & would appreciate if some one could attach the link about this being against the rules of the site (lost it myself).
Good luck those who want the TV for themselves, lets enjoy the ride!!!My views are irrelevant - censorship is alive & well!0
