    You won't be allowed to order without opting in to the terms and conditions. Another interesting point is that you don't actually have to read the terms and conditions to order - you simply have to tick a box stating that you accept them. This is another grey area of the Law, as most people don't read the terms and conditions and companies like this allow people to just tick a box, rather than making sure they read the small print.


    What I meant was the T&C's say that they will give us the oppurtunity NOT to buy if they charge the proper price - if they cannot contact us, the order will be cancelled.
    My views are irrelevant - censorship is alive & well!

    this telly is about 129 pounds in Somerfield without dvd, maybe without stand.

    Well I'm not going to be the only one not watching a new telly, so have just ordered myself one. I expect to be watching it in about 3 weeks time.......................................not!!

    It's not about giving us the opportunity not to buy if they charge the proper price, as they don't have authorisation to take more than we've originally offered. Any attempt to charge more would be illegal and possibly fraudulent. The Law protects us there, not their terms and conditions.
