This is one of the last emails I had from ebuyer regarding their 32" TV they wouldn't honour...and their T&C's were very clear when it came to the contract becoming legalRE: Samsung 28” Pure Flat Widescreen Television.
The price advertised of £28.08 excl vat represented in law an “Invitation to treat” It was not an offer to sell the Television.
It was obvious to all concerned that the figure given was incorrect. Our Terms and Conditions permit us to decline to supply any particular item. In this instance no contract was made and this company has no liability to you
Our local Trading Standards Authority has been notified of the error, you therefore may wish to take advise from the local Authority, or from your solicitor before taking this matter any further.Welcome, rogerramjet.
