Hi all, I bought a phone from these guys in may of this year and I was just checking their T&C`s. It states that you have to send the dispatch note back with your first claim but I don't ever recall seeing one, only a piece of paper with network telephone numbers. I still have the original package the phone came in and I just checked again but there is nothing there. Do you think they would send me a copy?
or be laughing their heads off that the've made £420 out of me if I have accidently lost it.

hi - I am a victim of the 'missing one page scam' and am thinking of the small claims court but given this.....
and this
is it not a bit mad to take them to the small claims court? If the company folds then it means that we lose even more money than just what is lost in the scam?
I dont know what to do. I want to do something about this as its outrageous, I have contacted my provider, Phone Box Direct, Consumer Direct and BBC Watchdog... any suggestions?
I stand to lose 336 - I received my first cashback.
Everyone here is so negative.
I have never lost a small claims action in my life. The glass is either half empty or half full, depending which way you look at it.0 -

Winning the action is not the objective (nor was it Wahm's concern).
The objective is to get paid - but should they fold then having won a case will be a hollow (and expensive) victory.0 -

If you are sure you would win a small claim (ie they would not have any defence to show you breached the conditions), then your only "risk" is the £30 court fee you would lose should they not pay up plus any fees you might pay after winning to enforce the judgement. (Though you do not have to enforce a judgement should you fear that would be more "good money after bad")
You are down £336, so another £30 though expensive is still minor in comparison.
Maybe others could post here and report if any payments have been received in the recent past to help you decide whether to risk that £30.0 -

I connected to what seemed like a great PBD deal on 27th June, shortly after reading on this website that most people had been having success getting cashback from the company, some for years.
After coming back to this thread today it seems almost as though everything has been going downhill for the company, starting from the day I signed up! Yey!!0 -
I received a letter yesterdate from Mobile Media Systems (dated 6th) which said I hadn't sent the second page of my bill (4th Claim). I know I did because I made that mistake on the first claim and lost £10. I even asked a colleauge to check it before I sealed the envelope. I file all my bills and there are two photocopies where the bills should be - which confirms I sent them.
I rang up and they said that they definately hadn't received them, and that I had until 5.00pm tonight to get the original there. I rang O2, but they said it would take 3-5 days to send out a duplicate.
How can I (or anyone) prove that I sent both copies?? I can prove that they received the letter, but nothing about its contents. Does anyone have any idea what I can do now - it looks like I'm going to lose £168.. Grrrr0
