phoned phoneboxdirect and spoke to kevin. phone went through straight away and it sounded like a call centre.

i explained the problem and he "went" and checked whilst i was on hold. no surprise he said the same. i said that it had been verified before it was sent.

he said that i must write to complaints department, that 2 managers would read it and answered that the turn around was one month.

i will now write a letter explaining the issue, outlining the problem and then explaining that i will be taking it further. at this point, other than the lie that the orange statement was incorrect (as we sent them the whole letter), they are okay.

I will keep you updated, and please if anyone else has moved on, let us know!

I have a 12 month contract with three (of course, signed from PBD) which is due on 1st Sept. I rang three last week (9th Aug) to cancel my contract with 30 days notice. I was told that my next bill won't be issued on 2nd of the month, which is my past 11 months billing date. Instead, they will only issued a final bill on 10 Sept which is one day after my disconnection date. I will expect the bill to arrive one week after bill issued date.

I am just wondering if there is any problem for me to use the final bill to claim my 5th cashback? The bill is certainly dated 360 days after my connection, and it is my 12th bill received, isn't it?

I am about to make my final cashback claim (even though by fourth one has yet to be paid yet).

Can someone please confirm the current cashback address.

The one on my original claim form is:

    MOBILE MEDIA SYSTEMS LTD
    Claims Dept.
    PO Box 8896
    Bingham
    Nottingham
    NG13 8XT
    Many thanks..

Yep, that's where I sent mine and they received it OK. Don't forget to make sure you don't fall victim of the lost page scam!

I received another letter (unsigned) advising they have revisited my file.....etc.
I can't be bothered with this any more so I've gone down the HMCS online small claims route.
I'll let you know how I get on.

What can be done to prevent this!?

I sent them a statement signed by an independent witness, listing all the documents included (see my earlier post).

I also included a letter informing them that I'd copied all documents and photographed the sealed envelope.

I sent it special delivery with consequential cover.

I know it seems OTT, but I'm taking the belt and braces approach, too many people on here have been scammed. And it's thanks to them that I was able to include all that stuff.

    I hope that helps?

Well done. My first cashback claim is in November, just popped back in to see what is going on. Hope the company is softened up by then.

Have a look at my posts on this. Good luck
  • Hi there, I am very new to this and need your help please :).
I think its time for my cashback on phone box direct and I am really confused. My date of connection was the 13th of April 2007. so therefore the 120 day period is on the 13th of august or near around that. SO should i send the bill dated from the 1st of august to the 31 of august, or should I send the bill dated from the 1st of september to the 30th of september. BTW I havnet recieved the september bill obviously as this is August. By looking back at the top of this page i worked out that i would have to send the september bill, but i just want to make sure that I am correct. On top of this, the terms and conditions i had stated that i didnt need the despatch note that came with the phone, now it says that it does, so i desperately need help.
    Thank you very much
