Elle, I have just read your informative information on Playa Blanca. Thank you so much. I am coming over to Playa Blanca in August and was looking where I would get free wifi in the town centre, as I am renting an apartment in the town centre for 1 week from 22nd - 29th August.0

Hi Elle,
We are holding our Wedding in Playa Blanca next May and reading your info about the area just made me want to be there now.
We love the place and have been coming on and off for 12 years.
I hope you don't mind but I would like to use the area info to add to my wedding pack for guests.
I would like to ask though do you have any idea where I can hire chairs and tables for the pool side ceremony? We have hired a villa for the wedding and now need seating (I'm not sure they will be happy standing all day lol)
Many thanks

Hi Kat. Regarding sharing the info... I have no problems with you using it - but it is tied to MSE's terms and conditions even though I wrote it. http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/site/terms-conditions
I'm sure they'd be fine with you using it for your guests... as long as you ask first.
I'm so sorry, but I don't know who would hire tables and chairs etc. But... try speaking to Jackie Lee as she may be able to advise you. She carries out wedding blessings on the Island and has done them on beaches etc... so might know where you can get them. Give her my love when you speak to her - she's a lovely lady! http://www.weddingblessingslanzarote.com/
Alternatively, the villa owners or managers may know?
Have an absolutely fantastic wedding!!!! May is a lovely month for weather, and not too hot for your guests.
Other contacts you may find useful:
- for wedding hair, makeup etc... speak to Mandy at www.mathparri.com - she's my favourite hairdresser in the whole world and will come to you, so you don't need to be traipsing all over the place on your special day.
- for flowers, speak to Glynis at www.flowersbyserenity.com - I've had loads of bouquets from her, and sent some too. She's the florist that most wedding planners on the island use.
- Canarias Puerto Mar - fab airport transfers at great prices. I used them for a shedload of bookings earlier this year and found them mfaultless from the initial email tthrough all the transfers... and even running a special unique tour that we designed for a large group of visitors. http://www.canarias-puerto-mar-lanzarote.com/

Me and hubby are looking to go to lanzarote at Christmas time. Where do you recommend? We don't need somewhere mega lively, but we will have our 15 year old daughter with us so not to quiet either. We are looking to fly out around the 27th for a week , so will be there over the new year.0

Hi Trixie. If you have the 15 year old, then have a look at areas close to the town centre and beaches. Are you looking at hotels? Or villas?
September is my favourite time in PB for weather... but New Year is my favourite for atmosphere!! You'll have a great time.

We've had a decent quote for a hotel called tropical island. Have you heard of it ?0

Well I've bit the bullet and booked it, we fly out on the 29th of December. What's it usually like weather wise.0
