    well, I've got a cheap set I've used a handful of times you can have if you get desparate.

    Babyliss I think - they couldn't handle my hair!!!!

    with tellies if you have a Richer Sounds near you it is worth getting their warranty if you buy anything cos it covers you for 3 years AND you get a refund on the insurance if you dont make a claim.
    with white goods i would recommend John Lewis as you automatically get a 2 yr warranty from them and this has saved us in terms of the tumble drier and washing machine :)

    Awww thank you for the offer, but my hair is REALLY wavy naturally so I would probably kill them! :o

    Thanks, I'll have a look and see if we have one nearby. I'm hoping that Stu will ring Tesco (who we bought the TV from) and complain, because it broke when it was 6 months old, and has broken again now it is just out of warranty. Hoping they might agree to fix it, as really you would expect a TV to last longer than that.

    Fingers crossed that nothing breaks down just yet!
