Hi Snaggles! I've been away from here for a while and have missed out on so much! I hope you're now settled back at work and that office politics haven't got in the way too much!

Going way back to page 1 - I too have a Brabantia chrome peddle bin - I dream of a push top one, so I am very jealous! But like you, all the tins match! The only appliance out of place is a white microwave rather than silver, but we got it for free, so I won't argue!

Hopefully now we have our own laptop, courtesy of MIL (belated wedding present apparently -only 3 years late!), I can hopefully come on here more often and while away my evening hours!

Hi everybody else - hope are all well and superduper on this Friday afternoon! QBx

    Helloooooooo.......I'm baaaaack! :D:D

The laptop is fixed :T hurray!! :j :j

Hi Beccaoz - isn't it a pain when that pesky work stuff gets in the way of your MSE time? :)

QB, I thought I hadn't seen you for a while, hope you're okay. Office politics aren't too bad at all really where I work - we're quite a tight knit department so it's generally a nice, supportive place to work. I've always liked working there, just didn't like my actual job. But since I've been back, I'm really enjoying it again.

(ps We have just bought a new silver microwave... :o)

    Hiya Keren

We only bought a cheapy one, no grill or anything this time (we paid for a grilling one last time and I never actually found out how to use it!). It's a perfect match for the bin and the breadbin though... ;)

We are really REALLY skint now until payday though, literally no money for food or petrol - at least the car passed it's MOT though, so we are just about surviving. And Stu has done 5 hours overtime this week, so that will pay for food next next week.

We always seem to be so close to having our finances sorted and then our domestic appliances start ganging up on us though (washing machine and tumble drier are both dodgy, Cooker really needs replacing and the TV (new last year!) is also making weird noises. And my straighteners are on the blink......CRISIS!!!!

One day we will get there! :)
