You know - my daughter is looking a bit cranky....and there's this funny smell....

Anyone any idea what I should do?

I had a cat that crapp6d on the carpet (deliberately when p1ssed off) - the vet told us to rub his nose in it as aversion therapy - he didn't like it and he soon stopped.... try is with nursery workers....:p
  • Snaggles that is absolutely outrageous. Even my DH could smell a dirty nappy, my DD could too - why the hell should she not know a baby has dirtied it's nappy. AND if she woke up upset after her nap, do you not check the obvious. like whether they are thirsty. wet/dirty etc - am absolutely speechless.

Please make sure you cc your letter to Ofsted as this is so unbelievable. Would it have been so hard for them to say sorry and make sure it doesn't happen again?

Have you got her into work's nursery after all this?

I have written a letter (which I will now amend bearing in mind our conversation today), giving a full account of what happened, and stating that I will NOT be paying another months fees, in fact I feel I should be refunded some of the monies I have already paid, and that I am considering sending a copy of my letter to Ofsted (I managed to include a word for word quote of Ofsted's 'standard 7', relating to hygiene, which specifically refers to nappies being changed when required - thanks for the tip off about this IA!).I am sooooo angry.

Snaggles, don't bl00dy consider sending them a letter - do it. And quote their stadards back at them!

They're the ones being derelict in their duty of care to your child    This would make me so mad:mad:
