Morning all
Just been having a peek at the spreadsheet and doing the monthly numbers. A couple of mini milestones hit with the repayment part now in the 60's (just!) instead of the 70's and the IO part now starts with a 56 rather than a 57 :j
Savings creeping up too and for once I've remembered to include them in the MFiT T3 challenge numbers meaning i'm on target for once :rotfl:
Must remember to use my Amex card today as have a small £15 credit balance from a refund of an item that pegged it two years into a three year guarantee. I've already bought the replacement elsewhere so back on a new three year guarantee
Need to do food shopping and batch cooking today and have a few other appts so will be a bit spendy but all planned and needed
Right, must go and sort my travel insurance
Hope you are all well
Regards

Old travel insurance provider contacted to advise i'm not renewing as I've got it £10 cheaper elsewhere. Didn't manage to get any cashback but did get 20% re online purchase so fine with that
Unfortunately they didn't take Amex to use that credit balance up so I've used my T£sco CC which will add a couple of points on too
Regards

Oh my goodness, I really need to go on the MSE naughty step. Just been working some paperwork to do with receiving some of my bonuses in shares.
It's clear I've lost track of what's going on here which is really not good enough when we're talking in the thousands here over two years! The good news is that I'm better off than I thought, the bad news is spreadsheet not up to date and having two share dealing providers (not my choice) is not working for me.
Although this is a nice worry to have it means more investment stuff to worry about so must get tracking either with a mixture of consolidating holdings and sorting out S&S ISA, how long have I been saying that for!
I also forgot to apply for the T$B IPO  It's not like it would have even been that hard as one of my dealing accounts was covering it!
Regards

I've just had a £15 credit applied to one of my CC's by way of an apology which is good as was expecting them to give me a voucher but this way I can do what I want with the money
I now have a new tenant in the BTL which is a relief and will make a big difference to my personal finances. I must call the council today and arrange for a refund of the CT I've already paid
My credit card is higher than normal this month with a few one off so it will be good to get that paid off albeit it will be high again next month re a few days holiday coming up
I also must get round to looking at a LL0yds Club account and got my eye on the Club saver too but think i'll end up waiting a couple of months to let a couple of other accounts run off/expire
Pay day doesn't feel too far off which is unusual!
Hope you are all well
Regards

Hi MCI, good to see you too, i'm waaaay behind with diaries so hope you and your OH are doing well
I normally don't have any problems with occupancy rates but typically a long one hit just after i'd depleted the BTL accounts with top to bottom decorating, annual insurances etc so found myself having to dip into personal funds which is not a good place to be with BTL's

Oops, I appear to have not even updated my siggy for July so have moved swiftly on to doing it for August
Money ticking over quite nicely with car insurance and breakdown cover renewed this month and I was pleased with both prices and also managed to score some cashback too
I've had a couple of short holidays in the last month or so, one in Europe and the other a UK city break, both came in under budget so even better
I've just bought a coat on line, not sure if i'll like it yet but bought from MnS with a 20% off code, a 10.5% cashback and I also had a £20 gift card to put towards it which they gave me some months back re a problem
The BTL balance is slowly building back up again but will be a good while before i'm repaid but still a much better position to be in
I've also been to see a new build and happily I really didn't like it :j No real plans to move and love where I am but would move if something caught my eye and this didn't!
I've also opened a Ll0yds Club account this week and will open the 4% Club saver later this year when another monthly saver rolls off
I'm £500 behind where I should be on planned YTD Op's but not too bad as I've paid less than normal the last couple of months to account for the holidays
Hope you are all doing well
Regards
