Hi Lula, good to see you and I can see you're doing really well yourself and on track for May 2016 :j Did I see you're planning on taking next week off, that will be great and you can spend some time with your boys
Life is tough here with life being the word e.g I don't have one at the momentI'm working beyond ridiculous hours and I think making myself unwell so just having a couple of days off and can't bear to think about work

We have budgeted for all of ours, which is nice, but I do have to confess to leaving it late as usual.
Did you ever get your ISAs tidied up? Always interesting to see another investor as well as an OPer.
Hi Ed, good to see you around. My investment strategy is very low key at the moment and no, I've not got round to sorting the ISA's out yetI have lots of holiday still to take before the year end so hoping to spend some of that time on the ISA's
At the moment (and roughly speaking) investments/OP's and savings are looking like- BTL value c£150k with BTL mortgage of c.£80k
- Shares c.£86k (c.£20k in an ISA)
- Monthly work sharesave £250
- Additional monthly share purchases £250
- Minimum monthly mortgage OP £500
- Ll0yds Club Saver £400
- Monthly Bank saver account £250
- c £14k across various 'high' interest bank accounts incl about half of that in a cash ISA

Hi all
I'm having a few days off work which is desperately needed.... I'm determined this time will be spent doing as little as possible while also trying to use some of that time to restore a little order to a range of personal things, so, so far- all washing and ironing up to date including all fresh bedding ironed and on this morning
- one full bin bag of shredding in the recycling bin
- about a foot high pile of paper filed, wish I was joking about the height!
- a small list of things written down of all the little jobs I'd like to get done, none of them can be too challenging as I have next to no brain power at the mo
- bag of items taken to local charity shop
Now off to check my TCB balance and see if something has moved to pay out. I find myself wanting a new and far too expensive new phone so working out ways I can convince myself that it's ok to get it
Regards

Well still no brain power today but energy feels a little higher so..
Have managed to clean living room top to bottom including all the yakky jobs like windows and waxing wood furniture items
I'm done in now but going out shortly for a coffee with a friend and we have a voucher so that will help things along

Hope you're OK....... work/life balance is really important and we don't get another life - so make sure you're happy with what you're doing... if climbing higher up the ladder isn't what you want, then step back a little and take stock before plodding on xx0

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Em.... can someone explain this concept please
:rotfl::o
Hey Gally, yup, you could now ice skate on the wood items the finish is that goodDon't get me wrong, waxing is not something I do frequently but do find it satisfying to do and always love the results.
Hmm, watch Natty turn up now the talk has turned to waxing

Thanks Lula, I'm really on my knees at the moment. Always been happy to climb the ladder but just lately questioning this. I'm not sure whether it's me that's changing or whether it's the shocking culture and behaviours that I now see that is making me not want to progress if you know what I mean
Definitely, trying to step back a little and take stock, that's very good advice

Just lodged a missing claim (following TCB advice) as this has suddenly changed from tracked to declined and I've no idea why so hopefully they change their minds after reviewing my claim
