Been to 2 different Tesco's today, and the SA's just scanned all my coupons.
No change there.I Hate Jobsworths!!!0 -
All seems the same usual SA accept all different coups up to 25 % or a 33 % or somewhere close been like this for the last month. Occasionally a 50% I nether normally have more than a tenners worth any way. Sounds reasonable to me. I do buy more since using coups and I don't normally shop any where else whilst they have this acceptance level. Would probably use Asda if they stopped taking coupons.Winnings 2007 = £463 winnings 2008 = £30002009 prizes = Tinkerbell DVD, Lipstick, apertif dish, London day out, secret service xbox game.0

Well i`ve just been to tesco. Being on a budget i handed over a few coupons some tesco and some manufacturer coupons and was told by 2 assistants and a manager that tesco no longer accepts "manufacturers coupons" only tesco or sainsburys coupons.
I cant believe this, a corporate company aimed at making a profit cant they understand members of the public trying to save a couple of quid if they can.
Anyone else had this experience or is it just the dunstable tesco??
If this is a new tesco policy i shall take my business to sainsburys or asda from now on.
I have been there myself, and I told them to scan it anyway (I live nr the L&D) and as they customer is always right they did it, and low and behold, it went through, nothing they could do then!- Total Debt :£190,000 - Mortgage

I wouldnt be suprised with the Dunstable store its always one rule for one and another for another. I know loads of people that work there and they dont know anything about it. Go to Asad they take all coupons wheather you've bought the item or not and no limit.0 -

My brother went to our local tescos the other day which is usually very good at taking coupons as long as you go to the right SA. He was told that the coupons couldnt be taken becasue they had a picture on them! Never heard that one before :P0

DEAL WITH IT
Whoa! Calm down, calm down!
No-one criticised you on this thread, they just said your experience of Asda is unusual - as normally Tesco is better as they have 100% coupon policy (in stores that follow it).
I have found my local Asda a pain as many stores think internet coupons are photocopies, whereas most Tesco stores seem to know what they are now.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
