btw I womble lots of receip0ts including ones with card details on. Not many would be stolen these days as they have to be used with a PIN, rather than a signature, and guessing someones 4 digit PIN is a world away from forging a signature. I've put tons on. Just make sure you dont give 2 in with card details on at the same time or they may check and notice they're different!

Discodee, just a word of warning that in my experience a lot of cards are stolen when the thief has just seen the owner use the card in a chip and pin machine, so has seen the PIN entered. I agree that they have little hope of guessing a 4 digit number, but the smart ones don't. I used to work in a bank and we saw a few cases of this (although still less than when a signature could be forged, IMO).

I've nothing against wombling, but would hate to see a MSE'r get into trouble over it;) !

I don't womble that many. Just found 2 yesterday first time in 2 weeks! LOL (Did get a nice £1.75 off petrol last week tho with a 5p off a litre coupon)

I rarely use the card machines and always cover the number part with my hand when putting numbers in in store maybe others should do the same!
