    Morning all :)

Day 2 of having the heating blokes in fitting a new heating system, I must say that I am freezing, I have had no heating since yesterday, I think I might go and sit in the garden it looks a bit warmer out there:rolleyes:
I nearly suceeded in killing on of the heating blokes yesterday, He asked me to switch the heating system off at the mains I thought I had done this but it turns out I switched the wrong switch off  The poor bloke had such a shock when he cut through one of the wires  there was a right bang and t tripped my electric, So I am making it up to him with endless cups of tea and a few HM cakes I made yesterday..

I decided to make some fudge yesterday but it turned out a complete disaster (still not set) So any suggestions on what I could use it for would be very welcome it would be such a shame to throw it away :)

I am going to have a relaxing day today just got to do another load of washing as I was up early so got all the housework done early :j

For dinner tonight we are having something simple Jacket potatos, Sausage and beans

Right going to end now as DS is using the settee as a trampoline and I can see a trip to the A&E if I dont go and rescue him..

    Hope everyones day goes well

Try it on ice cream or if it's quite thick spread it on cupcakes instead of icing.
Alternatively you could try reboiling it to see if it sets. ;)

Pen-Pen - have a great time at the theatre (last time I saw Romeo and Juilet I had a group of "challenging" sixteen year old performing arts students with me, who didn't really understand it - we had to spend the rest of the lesson explaining the plot in text speak :( )

Thank you, we will :D I've always loved Shakespeare (an inspirational English teacher aged 13 :T ) but really think it comes to life on stage. The Small ones enjoy it, too. We watched the BBC version of Macbeth last night (set in a restaurant; Gordon Ramsey's name may not be spoken - he's referred to as "the Scottish Chef" :rotfl: :rotfl: :T ).

Catowen - good luck at the hospital

Vicky A - thanks for the prompt on readit. I've registered; my sales on Greenmetropolis have dried up a bit, recently.

Pen Pin - you really ought to tell us what's wrong. It's not fair to leave people who care about you wondering all sorts of dreadful scenarios for a week. Hope everything's OK.

Haribo - how are you getting on with the chicken carcase windchimes

  • Morning all. Haven't posted this week I don't think, I've been late every morning :o and then the thread is soooo long I can't remember who said what!

Hugs to Smokey and PP though and anyone else feeling yuk.

DD came home last night and said Boots couldn't fill her prescription fully yesterday so now I've got to drive into town and pick up just one poxy little box of tablets (she's working until 6 so can't get there). I'm still skint as our new credit cards still haven't arrived so at least I can't mosey around the shops whilst I'm there but I could do without the extra petrol costs.

Making a a lasagne later as it's DS's favourite and he goes back to uni on Sunday :(

    Have a good day everyone.

    Good Morning Everyone.
Late start again today - I've been taking sleeping pills the last couple of nights to make sure I sleep right through, and by and large they've worked. However, won't repeat for a while as I don't want to become dependent on them. BM paddling away in the background, washing on line - for the moment! Glad to hear Smoky's posted, will catch up in a minute. Hope Essexgirl has a great day and isn't too exhausted this evening.
Need to empty the savings pig today and transfer to the ISA before Friday. Won't be much, but every little helps they say.Hope you all have a good day and ((HUGS)) to all who need one.

    Think twice before spending anything!
