3 days off for me!:j

am off to do Mums cleaning in a bit then later might watch the horse racing on TV with DH, also got ironing to do. Have come down with a cold:mad: so not feeling too energetic!

:wave: Good morning everyone

It seems that my bug ? Has started to go. I slept better last night. But now it seems to of moved to my chest and now i have developed a cough

It looks like rain today.So washing will be hung in garage again today. I was suppossed to be going to visit my aunt with my mum today. But dad managed to get the bricks delivered to fill the gapping hole at the front of the house. So he can build that up today and i can order my new door and window I have narrowed the choice of door i want down to 5 so just now to decide.
I want to see if i can manage to make bread rolls today. By doing the dough in the breadmaker then cooking them in the oven. I have never done any before. So i am expecting not a huge success
Knitting is on my list to do today also. lainey kindly sent me some of her grans needles.So i am ready now to be a wooligan
Tonight we are having meatballs,which i need to make. Doing a chilli for the freezer. Sometimes i really love having a dual pot slow cooker.
Thinking about the extra things i have to do along with the usual ones. Its a good job i am at home today i think.

Smokybabe You really are an inspiration. Many would not be able to face the financial sides of things. Whilst being supermum and keeping everything together. Of course we all know that you must not feel like that. But we all have down days.I know that myself personally have quite a few. I just sit and think of how you are coping and it gives me a gentle shove in the right direction to forget my woes and get on and get it done. For that i thankyou.
Hester I think when Katy leaves you deserve a party !! Glad to hear you have a back up plan for .... just incase But your blog really has made me giggle when i am feeling down. You must have the patience of a saint

Morning all. Not much OS going today, the highlight of the day will be my new 3 piece suite from DFS arriving. Before that must get the old one out and the floor cleaned. All the DSs are eating at other places tonight, so a home made ready made meal in order, something I will never ever tire of being able to do.

I havnt read much of todays thread, my mind has gone blank, so :grouphug: and :hello: to everyone xx

Was feeling really good this morning, until i just had a phone call from my doctors. The hospital (guess my consultant) has asked them to get me to have 4 weeks of blood tests - now i know i should be pleased that they are still keeping an eye on me (i was discharged from the hospital in Jan) but i guess i had assumed that this worry was over, unless i was worried myself. There is nothing they can do for me (apart from remove my spleen, and as there is no guarentee that will work, ive refused whilst my levels are still high enough to live with) but never mind, i think maybe i will go and see my GP as well and have a chat - i need to get some more sleeping tablets as my sleep has been really bad the last few months (no point in complaining im used to it now) but im starting to feel it. I probably use about 6 tablets a year, sometimes i just need to be able to sleep and need the help!!!
Have 1 LO here today, hes playing board games with my 2 at the mo so nice for me!

DAISY and IFONLYITetc! - welcome to you; I hate the thought that people are nervous about joining us here. We're all really nice, honest!

Well, I should be getting ready to go out; just need to put some slap on. I had a letter from my GP to book a smear test so I phoned up and got an appointment for tomorrow - wasn't expecting it so soon but at least it gets it out of the way.

Well, I must put this PC down!
