Oh Shez - that made me laugh! Wait until I tell my DH. He's working in a care home converting rooms into en-suites - yesterday, a lady stroked his arm and said 'I like you, I like tall men (he's 6'4"), you can take me anywhere you like'! She's 83, bless her! Talking about conversations in that line, my DH also makes made-to-measure furniture and has had to learn what the measurements between shelves are in cms after he embarrassed himself telling a lady he could give her 8, 10 or 12 inches! I think it's hysterical (and very boastful)! There is something about a capable grubby builder type, isn't there?

My OS for today, because I've spent most of the morning driving around running errands, is to make a quick fruit salad for pudding with some slightly squelchy grapes and a spotty banana! I wanted to do some baking but can't be bothered now. Dinner is meatballs in tomato and bacon sauce (HM from the freezer) and left over baby new potatoes, so that's OS as well!

Well, that cup of tea went down well and I'm going to have another one now! See you all later!

Oh, I've bought some new speakers for my PC because my new monitor didn't have built-in ones! £12.99 with a subwoofer (whatever that is) reduced from £14.99. The lad who came and helped me was gorgeous but way too young for me - he looked about 16 and was quite stunning! Of course, the speakers aren't very OS because REDRUBY told me that Tesco do speakers for £5 but our nearest big Tesco is miles away. Thanks, anyway, REDRUBY!

    See ya!

    Afternoon everyone :hello:

Thanks to everyone for the advice. I've rung the police, spoke to a different officer than last time. He said they can't do anyhting coz he didn't send that email TO ME. But that I can sue for slander. Sorry but really not up to that. Just want him to leave me alone.

If people believe what he's written (which they probably wont, no-one likes him!) then they're not worth my time.

Still packing constantly, so in terrible pain (I suffer from Fibromyalgia)

((((((HUGS)))))) to Smokey and anyone else who might need or want one. And thanks to all for being there.

    Hi all!

Haribo, it's groundhog today here too ( I love that film, sad aren't I?) As I was scrubbing the bathroom, I started to wonder what proportion of my life I've spent on such repetitive stuff. After all it's only going to get dirty again.icon9.gif Ah, but not so grimy, and not so quickly now that we are two:D See I knew there'd be plusses.

Started to make an inventory of my freezer today. It's not very big, just the bottom half of a fridgefreezer. Got halfway, then thought s*d it, life's too short and plonked it all back again:o :rotfl: Don't think I'm in the mood for OS today:D :D So I'm going to read my book, eat choccies, drink coffee (well it is a tad too early to start on the vino) and ignore everything else:p

Hope you enjoy your days, however you spend them.

    (((smoky)))

    (((anniestar)))

    (((hugs))) for anybody else.

    CM xx

PS I kept searching back, couldn't find Aussie's post, what happened:confused:

Shez, poor DH!!!! Mine would die of embarrassment, wouldn't know where to put his eyes. :rotfl:

She may have been! I'll have to ask DH when he comes home - he did look very pale and slightly terrified when he was telling me about it!

MELLIKA - one of my sisters has Fybromyalgia - it's a horrible condition so please take it easy. I hope you don't get any more worry over that awful chap but at least you have brought it to the attention of the police.

CHURCHMOUSE - I've been feeling like that for about a week. Life's-too-short-to-do-an-inventory-of-the-freezer sort of feeling! Consequently, the house keeps looking at me accusingly because I'm only doing things in a half-hearted way. It's 'cos I'd rather be on here, and work and housework just keep rudely interrupting and spoiling my fun!

Well, I must do something constructive, I suppose!

    See you all later.
