Take no notice of them hun, you'll cope because you have to, and adapt things to suit you, your illness and baby etc. Folk talk rubbish sometimes dont they?! :rotfl:

I coped - 16, single, had FM, took GCSEs whilst pg, went to college and worked part time when she was one (luckily have a v. supportive family), yes it was bl***y hard work but i wouldn't change it now :)

Haribo - MW told me that too, haven't actually broke the news to OH yet :rotfl:

So I heard. Anything I complain about now will sound stupid to you. But my family IS 11,000km away and OH's family can't really be called a "family" - So I WILL complain about that :P

Nothing will sound stupid hun, you will be coping without your family, for which i am in awe as i rely on mine so much, both for practical and emotional support. Even though this time round i have OH i'll still be relying heavily on my mam :o Just wanted to let you know that having FM doesn't mean you wont be able to cope with pregnancy, birth and bringing up a baby - you find ways and means to adapt to suit :)

    Take care

Hi there - talking about FM - my sister was diagnosed years after she had her last child so the pregnancy issue didn't come up. However, although she has terrible bouts of the pain and spasms and spends a lot of time in a wheelchair, she is half-way through a degree course in art and is doing very well. She has not let it hold her back. Her GP says it's not life-threatening but life-changing and you learn to adapt - she certainly has. After moving from one county to another and finding a very sympathetic GP who is willing to 'give anything a go', she is not as despairing about it as she used to be. Her GP doesn't mind her suggesting new treatments she hears about and that really helps. Her last GP didn't take the condition seriously but, thank heavens, this one does. Glad the baby is fine, LILLMISSKITKAT.

NICOLA - congratulations! Can't believe he's already 12 weeks old!

Well, DH is working later than usual so I decided to pop back on here before I put the dinner on.

MUMZY - hope you have a good time!

Well, can't think of anything else to say - not like me, is it? Will come back when I have something!

MOLIERE - I know what it's like. I've had it since I was about 8 but it only got diagnosed here in England when I was 19. So 11 years of pure pain and being told I was exaggerating  My current GP is absolutely lovely, she really listens and asks for MY advice. My mum always says, doctors may have lots of studying, but they'll never know your body as well as you do :)

Katy's just announced that she didn't get the job & having looked at another school, has decided to stay put at this school & with me!!!!!!!

I'll have to have words at work tomorrow, someone other than me will have to explain to her that her contract isn't being extended, so she doesn't have the option of staying put.
