Evening everyone and hugs all round.

Have quickly looked through the thread but after being at work for 12 hours Im a bit brain dead. The clients I work with have quite challenging behaviours so there is never a dull moment.

Just talked to DD on the phone. We have lots of family stuff going on at the moment and was just catching up.

Im off to have a cuppa and I can hear my bed calling.

    Take care everyone. xx

Katy's just announced that she didn't get the job & having looked at another school, has decided to stay put at this school & with me!!!!!!!

I'll have to have words at work tomorrow, someone other than me will have to explain to her that her contract isn't being extended, so she doesn't have the option of staying put.

REDRUBY - that must be so sad. I moan when I have a bad day but how on earth do these poor sick children and their parents live with terminal illness? I've been blessed with healthy children and grandchildren so I count myself very lucky.

Evening everyone and *hugs* for all

Got so much done at work today I cannot believe it! My manager wanted a progress report & I sent it to him - he came over "can we discuss.." I said "No, I'm leaving in five mins" he was walking backwards as he said "first thing tomorrow then..." I must have looked fierce..DD2 needed picking up from after school club..priorities..:rotfl:

Os wise I have done a load of washing, cooked Minced Beef Hotpot and cleaned the kitchen floor. A poor showing at best! Must try harder..

On the bad news front - my best friends Mum has been diagnosed with cancer - went into a&e, sent to a ward and won't come out. I had to cry, my friend is really close and her Mum and I have had our private chuckles together over the years..she is such a great lady
  • Evening all,

Haribo – how embarrassed must your OH have been:rotfl:
Shez ditto for your DH as well:rotfl:

Today i have been very lax. Have spent the day :happyhear  , watching pride and prejudice - you all know why the drooling bit was involved:rotfl:

I did get off my @!se long enough to put the fruit loaf ingredients into the bm:o but that was it until having picked up the boys from school, I made baked pots with peas and sweetcorn and cheese (DS1's favourite) for dinner

Have spent most of the day in between drooling, coughing up what appears to be green furballs_pale_ :silenced: Yes, I know, too much information. This cold/sore throat/ feeling at deaths door thing is getting beyond a joke now. I am not one of the worlds natural patients and i have no patience with illness, hence i did not become a nurse as I am not that sympathetic:rotfl: :o

As predicted, I feel a little better this evening than I did this morning and now hope that the lurgy has completely gone by morning:rolleyes: Heres hoping.

Hugs and best wishes to all
    Wanna

Edited to add Morwenna, so sorry to hear about you friends mum.

Evening all, one weary boy signing in :o

Compared to yesterday, today had been about a trillion times better although the ongoing lack of sleep is not helping. I confess to not having eaten since midday but as I've spent the last few hours in the kitchen baking enough crumbles and banana cakes to feed all of Dorset for a week  , I just haven't got any energy left to feed myself. In fact I've got all on hitting these keys in the right order :o

Bed for now and I'm at the doctors tomorrow morning to see what to do about not sleeping.

    Night all.
