Change of plan! We are travelling up to northern Spain tomorrow instead of Sunday - taking it in two legs and staying overnight in Formule1 hotels in Madrid and Barakaldo (Bilbao).

Rushing to get everything ready now!

We are taking a tent to France on Sunday. Talked into it by friends. Not sure where exactly we are going, starting off point will be Roscoff. My one previous experience of camping was awful hoping this one will be an improvement.

    Any tips welcomed.

Starting from Roscoff, you're within easy reach of Brittany's Pink Granite coast. This in my opinion is a must-see. Try a little town called Tregastel. Gorgeous.

    Hi, all!

Just back from Huelva - our first ever resort holiday, first ever Saga. We are very impressed with the service, the hotel and the place.

I didn't think there was any coastal Spain left so natural! Sand dunes and a long beach, with lots of conservation. We'll be back.

    (Felt quite young, though)

Next week I'm off to France for a holiday after taking a 5 day break in Orkney earlier this month. This Ski-ing lark is great!

SKI-ing bigstyle, having bathroom totally refitted. Had a quote from B and Q, installation cost too high, so buying from there and having our own plumber to fit it.

We are having the bath taken out and a nice shower fitted, plus new toilet and washbasin, all replumbed. Watch this space!!
