We had a B & Q bathroom - big error! Just replaced the sink with a Bathstore vanity unit. Own plumber, though.

Quick update on our camping trip to France. We LOVED it. Cannot believe I am writing this, I thought I would loathe it but it was great.

Margaretclare, we did go and see the pink granite coast. You are right to recommend it, it was stunning. I have to say that it did remind me of my own beloved county. That is praise indeed, anyone who knows me will tell you that wherever I have been in the world I always say that " The beaches were not as good as Cornwall".

We loved the camping so much that we are going again tomorrow, not far, just around the coast near Lands End. There are one or two walks that we would like to do in that area.

More ski-ing; we are having a bigger shed so that there is more room for storage, as well as the new bathroom.

But....wait for it! My husband has brought home today a sleek and attractive lady, Emily. She is still young and has a nice rear end, so he says. He has been admiring it all day.

No worries though, she is a lovely 2004 model Triumph Bonneville, the 'fast and powerful' motorbike he's been promising himself for about five years.

    :):)

So glad you enjoyed your camping trip, balmaiden. We are camping for two days in wales in August, not camped for seven years, looking forward to it.

Leaving it in the UK for the moment but I have a feeling come next spring we'll be paying for a cheap flight to Birmingham!

Back from France - wonderful holiday. I've got some euros left, where to now? This ski-ing is addictive!

I certainly am! I used to love biking when we were in our twenties and we already have a scooter :( in Spain. I just hope I'm supple enough to get on it (haven't been on it yet as I don't yet have a crash helmet in the UK -buying one tomorrow).

Is the MSE route not to check you can still get on it before buying the crash helmet? :rotfl: You don't have to go anywhere.

Or are you just worried about being able to stay on once it's going?
