getting excited about the arrival of the 360 my OH has decided to splash out on a high def set.
He's gone for the samsung 32 inch LCD that they are using in the xbox demo pods. comes to £833 from pixmania with a £10 discount. seems pretty good value for what looks to be a really nice high definition screen.
it was a toss up between that and the toshiba wl56, but the toshiba doesn't have component in.
just thought i'd let you all know in case anyone else is feeling extravagant

if you really want one, probably the only place will be ebay. prices look pretty silly at the moment, but i reckon a lot of people will have bought more than one and will be hoping to sell at a profit, leading to a flooded market and cheaper prices.
also worth looking to see if one is for sale locally, so you can pick it up and save delivery costs

i ordered one back in august the day amazon started taking pre orders. they SAY it will arrive by the 24th Dec, but i will be pooing myself until it arrives.

Have you seen the people selling xbox360's and 'guaranteeing' they will have you one by christmas or 'your money back' AND getting up to £500 for that? Wow, great, so you end up relying on some spotty teenager to get an xbox somewhere and then if he doesn't he will give you your money back on christmas eve!!! you would have to be NUTS
