Best deal I found was cashback at https://www.rpoints.com and a £5 discount voucher!
This was updated to cash back and new discount code = £243 for full system delivered - See my post on Rpoints.com0 -
Please be aware that no retailers actually know what allocation they are going to get yet! I think there are going to be a lot of disappointed people come December 2nd!Waddle you do eh?0

The Xbox for £243 is now sold out - however the same offer can be used to preorder Games, accessories etc for -13.5% discount. That's about £34 per game delivered! See the post on rpoints.0

Comet are pre-ordering a bundle of
-Full Xbox 360
-Extra wireless controller
-Perfect Dark Zero
FOR
----
£350.

Not a very impressive price but also includes QUOTE FROM WEBSITE
"a £100 voucher booklet, vouchers can be used on Xbox 360 games and accessories".
No idea if you can use them on ANY games or accessories, if you can it looks to be a very good deal. If you can't then maybe not.
I've had a quick scout round & I can't see any discount vouchers to take the price lower, but I'm never any good at finding them anyway. Maybe someone else can have more luck. Anyway, thought it might be useful info for someone.0 -

16 x £5 off any game vouchers.
8 x £2.50 off any accesory vouchers.
The catch (I knew there would be one) is that you can only use one at a time. So for each game you can only use one of the vouchers to get £5 off the RRP.
I guess whether or not it’s a good deal depends on if you intend to get all your games from comet or not. Personally I'm going to keep looking, you can normally save £5 off high street prices by shopping on line anyway.0 -
This has to be one of the best threads I have come across in terms of saving me money - I know I've just spent a fair whack but to save £200 is absolutely fantastic so thank you to all who have contributed here.
agreed - thanks for your input everyone... keep it up!
I'm personally waiting for an AMAZZING deal to show up before I (pre)order my xbox 360... Maybe Argos will offer it for 49p :-p

My friend (been a bit daft) never pre ordered his xbox, is any way still doing them0

I think if you try all the usual places one will accept a preorder. However the chances of you getting it on the day of release will be next to none. All the big co's have been sending out emails warning that preorders may not be available on the day of release.
That said, if you can find anywhere that does guarentee delivery on release day at normal prices pm me with the details ;-)0 -
Only one I found was comet and its a £350 pack0
