Right Nyk, if you signed up through Q they are offering £50 cashback, but they just changed the offer due to massive overdemand so it now runs out in 12 mins! Log into Betfair, click on Grand National and place a bet (on blue not pink). Job done!
I know about the Paypal problems, sadly only way I could get money there in time but Quidco does acknowledge they're having problems with this so hopefully it'll be sorted, fingers corssed. Well done Janey on getting yours tracked already. I've been stressing trying to maximise my return - so much for the calming shiatsu (massage not dog that is!) - but am now going to quit while I might be ahead, and vow to pay more attention to my cashback accounts to avoid last-minute money making panics!! :rotfl:The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

I just picked names I liked....so scientific! But I didn't enter a code anywhere like Martin said. I just clicked on the Free £25 bet on the main page I got to from Quidco.0

Hi,
I have done this too. Have spread the bet amongst 12 horses, both end of the odds. Janey, the code was already there if you went through quidco so no worries. What time it the race on? I need to go and check the tv programme before going to bed.
Did big shop today so need to update tomorrow. I was naughty and bought a bottle of wine (cheapest German that I could find) the upside is that it is not really tasty enough to overindulge.
I have been thinking that interest beater thingy and I think Nyk you have created a monster. My idea is starting to evolve into a proper business. But as too tired now will tell all about it tomorrow at some stage if DD allowes me to get to computer. Once she got hold of my laptop and when I tried to stop her to mess with my files she said: "would you mind, I am working". I wonder where she learned that from?
Night night and good luck for tomorrow (today)!

Look! I'm back again because I keep needing to read posts before bed! I am FAR TOO EASILY DISTRACTED :rotfl:
Mini - Panic not, my poetic words were nothing more than the vocalisation of the shambles that is my brain
Bails - I joined Betfair through Greasyhand during the Cheltenham promotion. Not as much cashback (tracked but not yet paid). I got another £5 free bet through this morning, so have 2 each ways for tomorrow. I also joined Paddy Power through Greasyhand (tracked but not yet paid) and have about £30 in there including the free bets. If anyone can explain in 'dummy guide' speak how to do the matched betting, I'd appreciate it, although perhaps by PM so we aren't going too off topic here. (It's all relevant to trying to live within a 4k budget, isn't it?)
OK, I really am going now. Catch you all tomorrow. G'night folks.
PS: Marru - Sorry for giving you the entrepreneurial version of frugalitis. I'm now more than ever convinced that stoozing is, by far, the easiest way to secure inexpensive finance for business development purposes. My overall costs, at present, amount to 2.75% over 12 months, so 6.5% looks a really tiny amount. I would rather generate at least 10%, pay the tax and still have enough stooze funds to fill the ISA. But it's way too late for any specifics. Really, really MUST sign off now. G'nightI reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

Oh GREAT! I have a horse called Simon and all I can think of now is Pie Man and can't even remember the name of the other horse I've bet!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I should have stuck with Hedgehunter, so any winnings could go into my garden fund (the one that should be a hedge fund so I get to become like those rich folks on TV). Then there's the baileys one, and the epileptic lurcher (in the book) was named Bailey! Decisions, decisions and I haven't touched the Paddy Power funds yet!
Marru - I'll take you up on the lesson for matched betting! :T

We have just applied for PP to do a major renovation on our wreck of a home. If we get permission, we are going to need to stay in a mobile home in the garden, we being 2 adults, 1 toddler and lots (and I mean lots) of animals.
DH who is lovely and works really hard has just decided that he wants a marine fish tank. Great I say, as soon as the work is done to the house, lets get a really nice one set up.
But no, apparently he wants a 5 foot tank NOW and I am just being negative/ controlling/ mean/ unsupportive etc. pointing out that the last thing we need to add to the caravan equation is 5 foot of delicate, sensitive, heat seeking fish! We do have a tank at the mo, covered in algae but full of thriving catfish but apparently that doesn't count...
And relax....... :rotfl:
Thank you, I feel better now....

Morning all - yeterday was NSD number 4! It's far too quiet in my bank account, I expect a tidle wave of DD's on Monday to upset the lovely 0.00 spend so far.
I think today should also be a NSD. Fingers crossed I haven't spoken too soon."Stay Wonky":D
