I have an average of £280.61 per month for the remainder of 2008 and plan on meeting this target by doing the following:
    1. Spend no more than £40 on grocery shopping each month to top up the stockpile
    2. Use homemade cards and gifts, whenever possible, for special occasions
    3. Leave the heating switched off all summer
    4. Eat homegrown veggies
    5. Cook from scratch, batch cook and freeze
    6. Bake bread if it's not available to buy for 35p or less per loaf
    7. Make the most of free entertainment and day trips
    8. Take advantage of points, cashback and bargains for Christmas present 'stock'
    9. Not buy any alcohol (I've started homebrewing instead! :rotfl: )
    10. Not buy any cigarettes
Good luck to you all, let the second half of 2008 commence and cheers to all who are still with me on this challenge!

I have now requested this thread be closed. I wonder what will make it into last post place?

Mumzy, you have a nice new thread to post in for the morning and Jumble-Bee, I have added a 'frunchkin power' next to your newly updated target in the new thread. Sophiesmum, it should be a very interesting part 3 with regards to the stockpile method of grocery shopping, but I succeeded in June! :j

See you all on the new thread tomorrow :)
