As far as I can work it out it can't, Bails, because it has to come out of the £4K challenge money - that's the way I understand it.

So, if Twinks were to make and sell some of her famous biscuits and AussieLass and NewZealandGirl [sorry, wrong name!] were to do the same with their magnificent Anzacs too then the money they made [by having spent some of the £4K money on buying the ingredients/leccy for cooking etc] would be part of the Interest Beater challenge. Likewise spending your "chocolate and magazines allowance" on a piece of china from a charity shop and then re-selling at a profit.

Have I got this right, Nyk?

Asking on here as I know lots of the challengers make their own soup. After making some broccoli and Stilton soup, I have 200g broccoli and 100g Stilton both of which I bought on whoppsie at Mr A's Yesterday, How much liquid/stock should I use?

Oh good! I'm only expecting a tiny return, if anything, but it'll be a start! So selling stuff we already own won't count? Darn!

It can count for you, I just can't count it because that's already part of my cyberdosh challenge to raise an extra £3000 in 2008. I have it split into 3 sections - £1000 from eBid/online auctions, £1000 from cashback, vouchers and clicks and £1000 from something else that I have completely forgotten right now :D:o Oh yes, website affiliates! Doh! :rotfl: I'd also like to raise £500 for charity this year (Got £404.40 in 2007) and I'm not even past my first £100 yet!

I need a completely different project from all of the above on which to focus my attention and play 'interest beater'. I just don't know what it is yet but have had some really daft ideas for mini-restoration projects :)
I reserve the right not to spend.

I would say around half to three quarters of a pint or so Penny? If it comes out too thick when you blitz it you can always add a bit more at the end - better too little than too much and it is weak and watery!

My goodness, if the general population of this country had 1/4 of the drive and resourcefulness of you lot, there would be no chance of any recession and we would all be on the "Live on £400,000 a year" thread!

    Way to go!

Another question regarding my soup found this

Also soup is really good for freezing, but don't add stilton or cream/milk. Add when defrosted

on oldstyle forum, thing is I got the cheese on whoopsi and wanted to make this soup to freeze complete, question is, can I freeze it with the cheese added before hand?
