Well done, Mumzy - you're organised and must be soooo excited.
If it's not too late, have you looked on HP.com? They have some wonderful [FREE] downloads for children's travelling activities, they also have the invitations we used for our wedding, the posters etc I use for the club I help run, etc etc Just a thought.
hope that helps

Oh Janey, your post gave me a warm glow, I LOVE hearing about things like that! It's such an amazing feeling to love your job/life; that's what it's all about. Have a natter and a cuppa with some of your folks from me x
Zimbabwe was interesting, it was quite a while ago now when I was only 18 - I fell in love with Africa completely (one of the reasons for the travelling round it in a van dream). Things were a lot more hopeful when I was there, and it's heartbreaking to see what M***** has done to such a beautiful country (sorry Nyk, no more politics!)
DraigGoch, I see you! And I am officially nagging you to do your budget[there, was that stern enough?] Welcome back, and also to Keren! Penny, way to go for getting BG off your back :T Mumzy, sounds like you're just about ready! Nyk, sorry to hear about the leccy bill, I hope the premium bonds are favourable to you
4littleone, welcome to our crazy thread :hello: Our noble leader Nyk will be along to give you a challenger number soon I'm sure.
So, I did something (potentially) silly today - whilst I was in a charity shop, with the interest challenge thingy in mind, I bought something to try and sell on. I spent £2.50 on it so if I make anything it'll be a bonus, and if I don't sell it I'll have to keep it for myself! I also bought a couple more bits for my wardrobe revamp/'attempt to learn to dressmake' project but that'll come out of my Clothing Fund. Now please stop me from buying any more things or my Mum'll have her work cut out when she gets back from India (she's meant to be making bridesmaids dresses!).
BTW, does anyone know what happened to Rafiki? Their posts always made me laugh! The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Broke mum of three, I think the email said that Ebay has a 5p listing day tomorrow so you might want to wait until then to list any more things (I could have this wrong, will check!)

would anyone have any objections to me joining this challenge as of the 21st April?
I know i'm a latecomer but i really need to get debt free this year and i think (alright i know) that if i can do this i will definitely be debt free which will allow me to move my life onwards and upwards.
Let me know what you think, thanks guys.
Balance from 21st April should be £2775.95 if you are using £4000 as your budget figure, but if you let me know your personal budget, I'll add that with your name to the challenger list on post one. Feel free to join in anytime and I hope you have fun.
BAILS! You are a mind reader! I had the exact same thought about the buying something and then selling it for more, as I always fancied the life of a wheeler dealer. And you are correct, tomorrow is a 5p listing day on eBay. I have actually dragged out a couple of items to list, but can't count any sales towards my interest beater as it's stuff I already own. But I am still digesting last night's programme about the super-rich with their hedges and million dollar watches... something unique, that's what I need, some sort of project that I can work on to make a small profit, enough to cover the interest with a few pence extra to prove I've beaten it. And I did spot Ddraig, so I'm going to nag, nag, nag, tooI reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

Oh good! I'm only expecting a tiny return, if anything, but it'll be a start! So selling stuff we already own won't count? Darn! The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000
