The bed is up and the majority of stuff is now back in DD's bedroom. Tea about to go in and I'm going to get my Asda order sorted for Friday delivery - I keep forgetting and missing the 5pm deadline! Well at least there willl be food in the house when people come on Saturday.

Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

    Evening all,

To those who are scrabbling around for pennies and facing worrying overdrafts I too send you good luck money vibes - may you find the cash you need (and accept that it may not necessarily be the amount you WANT).

To all those ill and poorly and dizzy - I'm asking the fairy of good health to visit you all as soon as possible.

Thank you for the welcome home Dusty and Mudbath - that's more than I got from the kids! DS grunted when I called hi and DiL has just come home and is slamming doors so I guess things are not well in that world - I shall go and investigate shortly.....

I shall PM you both as soon as I finish this post with my email address so you can email them to me. Either that, or, if you want, you can put them up on photo bucket and we can all view them here :D

But I do have to ask a question. WHERE WERE YOU BOTH ABOUT 11-12? SOMEONE PARKED ON MY DRIVE. Were you derelict in your duty? If you were flying, playing with the kids, visiting hospitals or otherwise engaged, I'll excuse you :D

I've just popped over to my nice neighbours for a quick chat. She asked if I'd had the webcam on at work. I said no - I was too busy but I had people watching it for me. She then said the hairdresser we share (who came to me last Sat) parked up on my drive whilst he did her perm - bless him, he did ask her if it was OK - she is my proxy as it were...when I'm not here. She told him about the webcam so, when he came out again to get his diary, apparantly he pulled faces at it. Though knowing him, it may well have been an obscene gesture!

Right, I need to do stacks this evening... so I'll just do the pm bit and then get flying.

My evening list goes like this:
    • sort out fish tanks
    • prep tomorrow's dinner in the slow cooker and put in fridge
    • DYSON (and I'm a firm believer in them) the living room
    • Clean bathroom
    • Cook tonight's dinner
    • Update ebay despatches
    • Clean utility area
    • Change bedlinen
    • Dust and door hall floor
    • Sort out dried washing on the airer and put more up to dry
Phew, that'll keep me quiet for a bit

Right, kids on a bike ride with DH. Cottage pie in the oven. Lunchboxes cleaned and awaiting filling.
Ebay listings ready (thanks chasingbutterflies for the turbolisting tip)

I am going to attempt HHI whilst Simpsons is on.

Soappie for give me for I have sinned. I was flying 11-12 in the living room and DS1 was logged into the other user on the computer doing his GCSE coursework so the webcam was not up. I would have been so excited if I'd seen a car - was it red?

i am so annoyed i missed that. i was helping the children pack to go away again. they're staying at grandparents caravan with dh again. alas...i've been left at home:rotfl: .

does anyone else not eat enough fruit? i always used to have more than my five a day but since m accident and being short of money i'm really aware of leaving the fruit for the children. i don't remember when i last had a piece of fruit....scary!

so, i'm going to count my five a day on my signature :rotfl: xx

Dusty - you are forgiven for being off duty at the time the perp appeared. To upload a pic, you need to stick it on a free pic hosting site. I use

    https://www.photobucket.com

You can register with a user name (like Dustykitten) and then upload pix there. Once you've got them uploaded you use the little insert image from the toolbar on the post reply box and put the URL of the picture in there.

Pigpen, don't worry about money, something ALWAYS comes up. A bonus tax credit award, or a quidco payement or a sudden bit of luck. Plus, DLA and CA are due soon.

Infact for everyone, *sends totally magic money magnet vibes to you all when your in need* .

My Mum and Granny always said "If the Lord doesn't come, He sends!" Also, they both always had a Forfear Cupboard, and so do I, for fear I might not get to the shops, for fear I don't take something out of the freezer, for fear we run out of money!

Not been a bad day Flying, in between whiles, weather has been nice too, but they forecast rain, so I didn't put washing out. It would probably have dried too! Our bedding is in the machine, but I might put it on line tomorrow if it looks good.

Mudbath - you are forgiven too. And thank you for the email. The car in your pic is red (and black) and is my nice neighbours Smart car (she has Wednesday's off normally) so that's eliminated from the enquiries.

Soappie I have emailed it to you. I have a tesco account that I used to get some free photots or a snapfish one I think - can I use that?
