Yeah the lilving room is done.
DS3 found 3 puzzles he nolonger wants - more for the NCT sale.
DS2 needed ibufen on top of the parrots to shift the headache. He felt sick for a while but is now in the garden playing basketball. Glad he feels better as his friend is coming soon to stay until Sunday.
Taurusgb - thanks for that tip about improving your experient really useful. My DS1 loves Geography too - it is his best subject and the one he hopes to follow on with hence why I am trying to help him. He has worked on his tables using excel all afternoon so is now nearly ready. I just need to get him loads of pencils/couple of flexible ruler etc.
Going to log my walkers chrsip packets and then see if I can do a bit in the family room. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Poohbear.. I've been doing that for YEARS!! I have 42 things ready to upload tomorrow (5p listing) and 24 things ending tomorrow... early enough for me to relist anything that doesn't shift!!
Mudbath.. yes.. I have been dressed for a whole hour.. I can't do anything in my jimmies.. so I have to get dressed to get motivated.. I haven't been washed, brushed my hair or my teeth though!!
Just stopped for tea break.. anyine joining me at 4:15 for a HHC????
I have emptied the DW, reloaded both WM's and the dryer and folded 4 loads of laundry, filled a binbag of rubbish and emptied the bin in the kitchen.. my bins are being emptied in the morning (7:30) so I need to get them out tonight!
In the next HHC I want to get DS2's duvet cover on, wash windows in the back room, get the net (the only one in the house) in the WM.. though I may just sling it in the bin.. it is torn and at the moment we don't have any neighbours.. I'll see how I feel in a bit. I need to get the rest of the ebay stuff sorted through so I'll do another box of that and maybe find a bit more of the kicthen!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Pigpen, don't worry about money, something ALWAYS comes up. A bonus tax credit award, or a quidco payement or a sudden bit of luck. Plus, DLA and CA are due soon.
Infact for everyone, *sends totally magic money magnet vibes to you all when your in need* .
MY CA goes in weekly.. and the DLA goes in next Tuesday and more than half of it is to be swallowed by bank charges!! The tax credits I need to shift £50 to my mother, £125 on a bill , £25 on the phonebill and the rest of that and the remaining DLA for food..
The week after the tax credits need to be shared between the remaining 4 bills.. I'll pay it off the credit card then use the credit card to pay the bills.. that keeps the credit card people off my back and means they don't charge me interest on it!
The week after the child benefit will go on food and the tax credits will pay any remaining bills.. or go off the credit card. Hopefully there will be a fair bit to transfer over from paypal this week!
When hubby gets paid it'll all be straight out again.. I have a fire for the middle room to buy somewhere in that lot too!!!
Don't you just love knowing where every single penny is going 6 months before it comes in?!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Hi all
I'll join in a HHC 4.30-5.00. been caught up with work so nothin done round the house this week so far apart from the odd daily and i am quite annoyed! I liked having all day to tidy up last week and pop in here when i felt like it.
Right will dash round madly for 30mins and then find a list somewhere and see if i can cross anything off. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
On the subject of having every penny accounted for in advance, my OH had an interview for a new job yesterday! Waiting to hear if he gets it as it would be a fair bit more money every month and YES! I have it all accounted for already and he hasnt even got the job yet!!!May GC Budget £200 spent

Hubby has gone on holiday! Have spent the day eradicating all traces of land rover from the house. Failing miserably. Theres a bulkhead in the breakfast room, for those of you that care thats the bit wot goes under the windscreen and between the doors. Its huge! I can't move it so I'm going to have to clean round it. I've washed 7 pairs of grimy overalls and the floor 3 times. It still looks oily.
Prior to departure he mentioned his car needed fuel so like a good girl (and so I can use it lots to go to the tip) I took it to the petrol station. I was aiming for Asda but the red light came on before I'd even left the driveway and the petrol station at Sainsburys is closer, but not that close. He has one of those smart @rse cars that tells you just how close to the fuel station you'll get before you're going to have to walk. Made it with 2 miles left but you could hear the diesel bouncing off the metal at the bottom of the tank. £35 later its only showing 1/3 tank.
Since I was there I ventured into Sainsburys and blew £21.23 mainly because winter school uniforms are reduced so skirts were £1.50 as were 2 packs of white shirts. They also had fake Crocs for kids at £7 for 2 pairs which will save them wrecking yet another pair of school shoes doing whatever it is that makes them disintegrate in 4 months.
Off to stick load number 5 in the washing machine. Clean bedding and fluffy winter PJs all round.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
The washing dried! Folded and put away.
I stripped and remade DD's bed ready to wash tomorrow. It's her day off and if she decides on a lie-in I won't be able to get it done early.
Work soon.0 -
Why does it decide to rain when all the washing I take out of the WM can't be tumble dried?
Just sorting the kids out to take back home - haven't got a clue what we're having for tea, will have to sort it out when we get back.
Catch you later
