Coooooeeeee **waves hello to all the lazy people, oh and those who have been working their socks off**
embb, sorry but raw chickens been out of my fridge 12 hours before and still eatenI'm still alive
The bills thing :rotfl: so I am not the only one who has every income and outgoing planned, mines done all the way until October for most things then December with pencilled in possibles, because the tenancy ends (if it doesn't roll on) in October. So things may change then. I had pencilled in what else needs paying for each month that I am unsure of the amounts for. August - Uniforms. September - my car MOT. May (eeek) - DPs car MOT. Things like that. DP doesn't even know what we pay out each month, has no idea what goes in and out of his bank account. At the beginning of the month I look in my book for the sheet for that month and finalise with any additional things I know of by then, worrk out where I can shave off planned spending/bills to pay for other things etc.
poohbear thank you for the PMsmuch appreciated. We will grow something edible other than strawberries this year, we did do lettuce last year but the slugs got their first.
Lawns all now cut, the ONE house which haddn't done their lawns has done them since :rotfl: must have thought the same thing as me. Fence now fixed, will hopefully stop the cheeky mare who's dumping their grass clippings behind my shed!!! (They live behind us)
Sheets are still on the line, not quite dry, but the summer duvet is coming out this time, I am sick of cooking in the winter one. I hate being too hot on a night but DP likes it. Well tough. One day I might be more organised...........

Hi everyone,
Food ordered,
1 set of buggy covers in machine (it took a while to figure out exactly how to get them off!),
Car Unloaded,
Bins out,
Washing hung up to dry,
Clean washing heap now in neat bundles
Then I went to the freezer to look for some supper tonight, lifted out a couple of baskets and  you can see the bottom of the freezer. So I got out the book to see how I am supposed to defrost it (since it is as empty as it is ever going to be...) and now I have a question... It says for a frost build up on the inside you can just scrape it off (if it isn't too thick) so if I use a windscreen ice scraper and collect all the bits of ice and dry off is this ok? or should I just do a full defrost/clean out thing?
eta - it is ok I have enough time tonight to do it need to fast freeze for 4 hours then I can defrost will probably be cold enough in the garage for the food not to notice :rotfl:0 -
jamtart - i'm not sure it makes cleaning fun but the thread keeps us sane. pigpen posts a list every day and then does as little of it as possible. then she shouts at us when we don't complete it. would anyone else say that's a fair assessment???:rotfl:
ok, she's going to yell at me now.
seriously though, just do as much of the list as is doable for you. it might be one thing on level 1 or it might be all levels. i've found it's really helped me get organised. good luck and welcome xx0 -

Pigpen does sometimes reward us with doggie biscuits but I think my postie secretly snaffles mine as ones never actually arrived *sob*
Incidently I seem to recall there was only one person today who was still slobbing around in PJs.... isn't that right Pigpen! *Ducks* in anticipation of a wet homemade dishcloth being lobbed in this directionSaving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
