Right am on here for 5 minutes to say a quick hello to eeryone, post my list and then am going to crack on while corrie is on. If I am doing the living room I can fly and have it on in the background - you don't need to concentrate that much on soaps to know what's going on!!
Am only just home from school today cos of parents evening so am really brain dead after talking to parents who have not got a clue what I am talking about. There must be about 4 out of 30 parents that are genuinely interested and about 8 parents made appointments and didn't show up. Anyway rant over!!!
Here is my list
Mad Wednesday - Living room, Hallway, Stairs
Level One
[STRIKE]remove clutter from floors, chairs and fireplace[/STRIKE]
[strike]Make sure you have got your ebay stuff ready to list on Thursday!!! 5p listing!! [/strike] Not selling at the minute - need to find out whether the bummp is blue or pink first
Level Two
Vacuum floors and sofas
[strike]Sort that under stair cupboard.. make sure everything is in tidily rather than thrown from a great distance![/strike] no understairs cupboard
[STRIKE]Dust those flat fluffy surfaces[/STRIKE]
Level Three
Vacuum under the furniture you can move
[STRIKE]Clean windows, pictures, mirrors etc.[/STRIKE]
Clear a hotspot
Vacuum hall and stairs
Extras- [STRIKE]Wipe woodwork in the hall and stairs[/STRIKE]
- Binbag dance.. fling a binbag of rubbish.. I don't care where it goes so long as it is out of your house!.. and that doesn't mean you can stash it in the shed or garage or the car boot!
- [strike]Make certain ALL the house clocks are saying the right time.. replace any batteries that need replacing! [/strike] done when the clocks went forward at the weekend
- [strike]I think the children who have been most helpful today should decide what you are having for dinner.. and that doesn't mean a takeaway.. we will consider that for the weekend if you are doing a fabulous job!!! Maybe if they are big enough they can help or better still cook for you!![/strike]We ARE having a takeaway. It is a parents evening treat!!!
- [strike]Sort out all the shoes.. make sure there are 2 of them all and put them nicely on the shelf or in the box. Encourage the person who has the most to get rid of a few pairs they never wear! [/strike] All upstairs
- Oh.. I think you'll like this.. everyone gets a carrier bag.. and spends 5 mintues running all over the house putting rubbish in it.. not other peoples things just rubbish, scrappy papers, junk mail, used envelopes and things like that.. after 5 minutes we weigh all the bags and see who has the heaviest bag. The winner gets a treat (and so does everyone else!)
- [strike]Pick up all your own things from the front room and put them away in their homes [/strike]
- [strike]Water any plants in the house.. I always forget so this is my childrens job usually. [/strike] [strike]Don't do plants[/strike]
- If you are a bigger little person could you vacuum the floors once they are clear of stuff?
[STRIKE]Fetch bags from car and pack ds bag for childminder tomorrow[/STRIKE]
go to shop for milk (and chinese) when DH gets in
[STRIKE]Wash up[/STRIKE]
Get DH to sort recycling out (rescue the fridge magnets that DS deposited there
sandwiches for tomorrow
[STRIKE]wm[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]sort dry washing[/STRIKE]
Right if anyone sees my light on before the end of corrie give me a kick!!

Tia - hugs - one of the reasons after my last divorce (don't go there!) I resolved not to get in a relationship again. DiL came home slamming doors earlier - I have now investigated. Seems she has a migraine and is upset because DS is playing games on the computer with a friend and she can hear the noise of the computer which is making her headache worse (these are grown ups!!!!!!!). I did feel a tad guilty when I put the Dyson on and did the living room and thought what the heck - it needs doing.
none of us need prima donnas in our households. We all need to learn to live in harmony.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Dusty - I've got 5 packets worth 2 points each which you are welcome to. I've offered them a couple of times with no takers. I hate putting things in the bin that could be used0
