Good deed done for today, 4 lambs out on the road so phoned the farmer. He's away to get them now, people fly on that road too.

    Have so far done
    1)bit of baking
    2)cleaned the fireplace
    3)brought loads of sticks in
    and daily's, thats it.

    Right KICK i'm away...
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

My mum suffered terribly with this she is now on 3 tablets a day and it is now finally under control. She was a nightmare she walked in a straight line so she thought but was always tripping on coarseway edges nearly in the road a few times becasue of it. it was a nightmare to wqalk at the side of her too s she was always crossing in front of you.

Sorry I just :rotfl: :rotfl: It sounds so like me. When I was teaching I couldn't walk down a corridor straight and the kids kept talking out me being drunk!! I don't have it all the time. It tends to come and go. Can be months apart. I was swaying in the Co-op the other day but my friend caught me.:rotfl: :rotfl:

my spinning is down to a condition called endo lymphatic hydrops. put simply it's due to problems with changes in fluid in my inner ear. this means it's worse at different times in the month. i've had it 8 years now so it's normal for me and i often don't realise that i'm not walking straight etc. my friends all say i walk into them!!

i've just phoned the benefits people and told them they have to issue a benefit involved file on my account. guess what, they don't know what that is. they said they'd send an email to newcastle if that would help. give me strength!!! xx

:grouphug: Gunsandbanjos, sorry to hear about the funeral. It is usually the younger grandkids that seem to suffer the most. It is heartbreaking. My DS3 was the worst at all his grandparents funerals, Heis the youngest grandchild and I was so surprised the first time as he wasn't even sitting with me and his dad and that made it worse I think.

I have only about 16 minutes until all my kids get home from town. I have really enjoyed a bit of time without them all here.

vivw probably not what you're looking for but Home Bargains have some beautiful whicker laundry baskets in at the mo, for £3.99, I could kick myself for not getting one but I didn't NEED one, wish I'd seen them a few weeks ago...... they also had some sets of baskets (ideal for hampers) but probs not big enough for what you're after.

I can't believe this lovely weather we're having, it's so mild and sunny :j just got in from work and still had some energy left surprisingly, so whizzed round with Henry and folded all the dry washing up, gonna give it to teenie to shift upstairs in a while. Put the DW on this morning before I left so that just needs emptying (hollars to teenie) he can do that too.

I just need to get this out, nearly all my customers have one grrrrrrrr

    Dysons are crap!

Right, gotta find something for tea but I'm fancying Asdas Cottage Pie ready meal :o and I'd have to go and buy one specially too (Martin would have a fit) but littleys just gone to a mates to play so I can't go till 6pm *tummy rumbles* and I haven't got anything in to make my own, 'cept the spuds and even they're soft and sprouty :o decisions.........would raw chicken fillets that have been out of the fridge for 4 hrs (bought them then had an emergency customer to do) be ok? I'm thinking not actually......nah I'll chuck 'em, I'm funny about things like that and I wouldn't enjoy the curry if I did use them and I certainly wouldn't give it to the kids .....what am I like. *tuts*

And I thought the spinning in my head and the wooziness I get, was in my imagination. Really feeling it at the moment, Maybe I ought to get it looked at
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

  • Hi All

Hope everyone is doing ok. I haven't had chance to catch up on posts. I was up most of the night with a really bad headache, would of developed into migraine but I think I caught it quick enough. I still don't feel 100% but I had to talk kids into Cardiff to the build a bear because one of them has a party to go to and wanted to get one as a present. Apart from that not done much today. In fact the kids have done a lot of the jobs. Eldest has also cut grass back and front to try and earn back some of her pocket money that got deducted for arguing yesterday.

    • Binbag dance.. fling a binbag of rubbish.. I don't care where it goes so long as it is out of your house!.. and that doesn't mean you can stash it in the shed or garage or the car boot!
    • Make certain ALL the house clocks are saying the right time.. replace any batteries that need replacing!
    • I think the children who have been most helpful today should decide what you are having for dinner.. and that doesn't mean a takeaway.. we will consider that for the weekend if you are doing a fabulous job!!! Maybe if they are big enough they can help or better still cook for you!!
    Childrens list.
    1. [strike]Sort out all the shoes.. make sure there are 2 of them all and put them nicely on the shelf or in the box. Encourage the person who has the most to get rid of a few pairs they never wear[/strike]!
    2. Oh.. I think you'll like this.. everyone gets a carrier bag.. and spends 5 mintues running all over the house putting rubbish in it.. not other peoples things just rubbish, scrappy papers, junk mail, used envelopes and things like that.. after 5 minutes we weigh all the bags and see who has the heaviest bag. The winner gets a treat (and so does everyone else!)
    3. [strike]Pick up all your own things from the front room and put them away in their homes [/strike][strike]
    4. Water any plants in the house.. I always forget so this is my childrens job usually.

Pigpen, don't worry about money, something ALWAYS comes up. A bonus tax credit award, or a quidco payement or a sudden bit of luck. Plus, DLA and CA are due soon.

Infact for everyone, *sends totally magic money magnet vibes to you all when your in need*

Everyone with the spins, I feel for you. I had that labrynthitis for a few days and it was HORRID! Huge hugs and get well soon vibes.

Got the kids, went to the butcher got kids beef olives and me mince for bolgnaise or curry or something, went to chemist and got lots of drugs.
